This waterfall is truly magical. This would be a place that I would go back to, again and again. The trek heading down to Minnehaha Falls is relatively flat with the few rocky areas, muddy puddles, creek crossings, and steel steps that are found closer to the falls but nothing is too difficult. It is an easy hike that is suitable for all ages. Allow up to 45 minutes one way. By the time you approach the lookout, you can already hear the sound of the waterfall. The roaring of the falls when you get to the base is something! Lounge by the rocks or have a swim. It's a nice area to relax and enjoy nature.

We went today. In some spots you have to think about where you put your feet if you're not wearing waterproof shoes. I don't know if I'd take my 80+ yr old mum or 8 yr old on this one but otherwise a great short walk with an absolutely INCREDIBLE fall and swimming hole at the end. It's hard to not feel wonderfully and positively overwhelmed on such sacred grounds.

I've always wanted to go to a spot like this but could never find one - this is it! A 'lagoon' at the bottom of a waterfall, what a mini paradise.

Only a 10 minute walk down an adventurous and dynamic trail full of views until you arrive at the lovely open basin with high and grabbing waterfall above. On the way down the main trail, you can find many mini attractions of the initial waterfall to stop at, with many smaller waterfalls, water holes, creek and embankments of sand under trees for picnics and play with children, family, friends & pets. The trek alone is worth while, but the initial walk into the main waterfall 'arena' can be breathtaking if you're present.
Be warned, the water is a cold-plunge/ice bath experience! Quite deep at over 2m in most spots especially around the middle it may get up to 5m or deeper. But all ages seemed to still enjoy it with pool toys even being seen.

A hidden gem!

This track is one of my highlights so far. It’s a short but fun walk, with a variety of terrain including flat paths, rocky paths, stone steps, metal steps, and dodging puddles! The waterfall itself was very nice, but I absolutely enjoyed the trail to/from the waterfall. I just had a great time. Also, don’t forget to turn onto the path that says creek 5min, it’s a lovely spot to stop for a drink and a snack! I only saw a few people (weekday, midday) I took the bus there, but there’s plenty of car parking. Important to take good shoes - can be slippery especially after rain

start. The track was well-marked and surrounded by native plants and birds. The falls were spectacular, with a 20-meter drop and a deep pool at the bottom. I enjoyed swimming in the clear water and feeling the spray of the falls. There was also a platform to jump off and a rope swing for some extra fun. The pool was surrounded by rocks and trees, creating a serene and natural atmosphere. I also loved the view of the falls from above, which was accessible by a short detour. This is one of the best waterfalls in the Blue Mountains and I highly recommend it for anyone who loves nature and swimming. It’s also dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along

Beautiful falls that you can swim around though the water was super cold even during summertime. The track is a bit tough especially after wet weather. My dog absolutely loved the track but struggled with the steep metal stairs, best to carry your furry friend at that part if possible especially going down.

We went to Minnehaha falls on recommendation of a friend.

The falls and walk down is just splendid! Beautiful views and the walk down was easy enough.

The falls are gorgeous with plenty of people visiting when we went, maybe 15 people. Still comfortable to sit and watch the falls. Some people were swimming and the water was very cool.

As you get closer to the falls there some steep steps, I’d suggest the walk is easy to medium depending on fitness.

Recommend giving it a visit.

A hidden gem!!! A rocky waterfall enclosed in a deep valley west of Yarram, remote but still within a 30 min medium walk from the road. Spectacular swimming hole as the base of the fall, the swimming hole is deep and clear and is the perfect way to cool off during summer. Plenty of free car park. Take water, proper shoes and swimwear. Highly recommended!!!

A quick walk down and back, no more than 30 mins each way, and is relatively easy.

The waterfall was beautiful, the swim was too. It was clean, fresh - water was 12° visited on April 1st.

Definitely recommend a visit!

Beautiful place. I visited after raining. The path was too muddy. So didn’t complete the track

Beautiful spot. It’s a relatively quick walk, about 1.5 hour return. It is straight forward to navigate with signage but there are steep sections and cliff areas that are not fenced so do be careful. It can also be muddy after rains thus good footwear is recommended.

Beautiful place, hiking was not that hard.
But be aware of that stairs and rocks could be quite slippery and muddy. It would be better to take your hiking shoes.
But it worths the journey, the falls were amazing!
And there were lots of cliffs and rocks that could be good photo spots👍
Also you could possibly see pretty wild birds

Minnehaha Falls, Blue Mountains, is a medium intensity walk down a ravine through some mild bushland.
Not for the faint hearted, the walk requires you to walk over rocks small rivers and very steep man made stairs.

The sound of the water tells you that you are approaching the falls.

The falls themselves are quite spectacular, but be warned the water can be cool to cold even in summer.

First of all the address shows the wrong place. You should follow the minni ha ha road and end of the road you will see the sign of the fall.
The view and fall is amazing. We went there in the mid of summer and the water was freezing.
To be able to reach to the fall you should walk around 1,5 km path and steps which is not smooth. Especially after a rainy day the path becomes muddy. Try to wear your trainers or nonslip shoes. It’s not a pram friendly path and be cautious while walking with the kids.
At the end the place deserves all the effort👍🏻

Great spot for a dip and a short walk (20 min each way). Water is cool, which is nice on a hot day. Parking was easy a minnd the walk is not too challenging. The place can be easily busy though

Lovely waterfall accessible just 1.2km from its dedicated car park. My Garmin watch tells me the vertical descent from the car park to the swimming hole at the bottom of the waterfall is 88 metres. The water was very cold when I visited in mid-December so bring a towel or swim parka if you are planning to have a swim. There is some direct sunlight to the swimming hole from mid to late afternoon giving the water a chance to warm up. The swimming hole itself is quite deep almost a circular shape perfect for swimming There's even a rope swing you can use to plunge yourself in if you dare.

Stunning walk, beautiful falls and a great place for a dip once you get there. A few sets of stairs on the way, so moderate fitness (and knee strength) recommended.
