I visited the shop about noon time on Thu, 16/11/2017, looking for wedding rings, the young lady who is in charge of wedding rings served us nicely though we didn't get ours here. I appreciate her service.

Well behaved staff and budget collection.

Good prices on watches. But no original box with watches. One of the watches I purchased was "squashed in" in a box that was for a smaller watch. In addition, the logo on the box flaked off and my bag/watch was covered in this glitter like material.

Recently bought some lovely earrings at a store close to me, and wanted to buy a second pair but they didn’t have more in store. So called Hornsby who checked their products and confirmed they had one pair in stock. They said they would be happy to transfer them to the my closest store. So my closest store called them to organise it and they told them they didn’t have time to look for them and couldn’t help (even though they had already found them when I called). In other words, they clearly changed their mind and preferred to make the sale themselves rather than transfer it. Very annoyed that they wasted our time and when I called to confirm later they just said sorry we sold it to someone else. And pretended they were too busy to sort find them earlier. Terrible customer service, they gave me the run around.

The staff were really rude when I requested a refund, when I purchased my item the refund policy was not made clear to me nor was it printed on my receipt or anywhere in store. Also I noticed a defect on the item I purchased within the first 4 hours after the GF pointed it out. They said I would have to have it sent off and get the item back after 4-6 weeks.

Go to Michael Hill instead! They have a full refund policy and when I returned another item they didn't even ask why, they just refunded me the money.

We just walked into the hornsby angus and coote, 3 ladies at the counter, didn't even acknowledge our presence was too absorbed in their own conversation. Not a good experience as we were looking to buy some jewellery and we were the only customers in the store!
