The Original Maltese Pastizzi Shop

Visited this store on Saturday from the Mornington Peninsula. Bought a variety of goodies. Corned Beef and Pea traditional Pastizzi, Almond Slice, Galetti and stuffed olives for my Father. The Pastizzis are the best I have ever eaten outside of Malta...Thank you so much

Love this place sooooo much, the pastizzi with all different flavours are amazing, the crunchy dough was perfect and tasty 👌🏻 service was friendly and fast. They have a lot of producta and groceries. We will sure come back again and again

We had the ricotta and spinach, curried peas and a spinach Pastizzi. It was absolutely delicious, the flavours were amazing and the pastry was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend!

These pastizzi are a family favourite! Our kids love the Spinach and Ricotta which are apparently “so good” in their words! Flakey golden pastry and generous filling inside, these are the perfect snack or quick hot lunch option! Great product guys, and always helpful service by the team!
…I wish I could try them, (coeliac here!) If only they were gluten free! A girl can dream, right?! ;)

On arrival, it’s great to have easy parking! Small businesses thrive in Melbourne when the quality of the homemade food is above and beyond expectations and the queue of people this morning were evidence of this. Today I was thrilled to be able to watch the woman, who had her craft of making the pastry, down to a fine art. The staff and owners were generous, fun, full of interesting conversation and good tips. They were an important contribution to the atmosphere of our Maltese breakfast - 12 friends who care not only for the children we teach, but also each other. Time to go and I left with 2 large bags of pastizzi (including 1 packet of vegan cheese for my sister and her family, cannoli, olives, broad beans and dip. Way to go 🥳. I’ll be back!

Fabulous family business. Consistently delicious flakey and traditional pastizzi! Can’t go wrong with any flavour but ricotta are my favourite

Really love the pastizzis here! Come in early and get a few freshly baked ones! $1.50 for oven ready ones is a great deal as they are crispy and packed with filling. They do have plenty of other frozen kinds so make sure to ask them. Didn’t know there were many other fillings.

We gave Mel the heads that there will be 10 of us coming for a Maltese brekky/brunch on Saturday morning.
There were a variety of pastizzis already cooked, Carlo was making his famous coffees and we also shared a grazing box which Mel had made for us. We all sat outside the front for a couple of hours.
Great company, lots of laughs, lots of food, fantastic service by all staff in the shop (which was extremely busy).
Definitely looking at doing this again.

Dining at the original maltese pastizzi shop I was immediately transported to the gorgeous cafes in Malta. Authentic food, exceptionally done! The owner is truly passionate about her business and takes the time to create memorable experiences for all of her customers. Will certainly be back!

We came all the way from The Central Coast, N.S.W ,as we just love a home made Pastizzi and boy, it was worth the drive. The staff were friendly and knew there product. A MUST place to visit

Since i was young i used to wake up in the morning and go buy pastizzi for breakfast either before i head to school or work back in Malta and i tell you want it was hard for me when i come to Australia especially in Adelaide when you can’t find these kind of food that were used to! So this weekend we took a trip to Melbourne and on our second day we couldn't resist our craving anymore we had to make a stop to this beautiful shop! Their pastizzi are made fresh so i had to order a dozen of them and 2 boxes of kinnie, the lady of the shop was very friend and the shop it self was amazing..
cut to the chase ! If your visiting Melbourne from which ever country your from i would really recommend this place and try different food and flavors! And trust me you wont be disappointed 😊😊 had a great time thank you

Easily the best pastizzi in Australia and if anyone tells you otherwise I would suggest they’re maybe not Maltese.

Everytime I’m in Melbourne I make sure to get as many as many as I can carry on the plane!

I hadn’t tried a pea pastizzi before and I must say, it is now my favourite! So crispy and delicious 😋
