I got a new tube put into a flat tire at Bay Bikes and they did a very thorough job and found that the air pin was the wrong size and fixed that for me. They had it ready in no time while I waited. The three guys working there were very friendly and knowledgeable. I am from the U.S. and they shared some of their favorite bike trails with me and told me some interesting facts about some of the birds found in Australia that I had not heard of. Bay Bikes is awesome and I highly recommend them.

I took my e-bike here to replace the gear shifting cable after another shop had declined to take on the job. The bike needed a chain guide but no commercial options would fit the bike so they hand made me a guide instead and did a great job, even painting the part. The labour charge was very low considering the work I could see had been put in so I’m a very pleased customer and will be back.

Very friendly. Great service. Successfully replaced bearings in my wheelchair rear/push wheels, on a Saturday. Extremely grateful. Thanks again.

Great service, owner was happy to explain my many questions about e-bikes with patience and knowledge. A week later and I'm thrilled with my purchase and am having a great time on my new bike.

Came in looking for a tire tube for an Escooter.. but because this was a bike shop they didn't hold the tube but the lady behind the counter was such a help. She could have very easily shrugged her shoulders and said we don't deal with Escooters but she came up with the idea of going to a baby stroller shop for an 8inch tube..

We bought our bikes from Bay Bike Co a couple of months ago. The service was great and we were so excited to get our bikes for Christmas. Unfortunately, we have been forced into isolation with our son contracting COVID-19 so were unable to get our bikes for Christmas. The wonderful owners of Bay Bike Co just delivered all three bikes to our door so our daughter has her present for Christmas morning. Thank you so much. Your kindness is so much appreciated.

Trying to find a bike during the pandemic has been quite tricky with low stock levels all round in Sydney. Got on the phone to Bay Bike Co and spoke to Jacinta who was fantastic in helping me with my queries and patient with me, just all round great customer service. It just so happened that they were expecting the exact cannondale gravel bikes we wanted in a couple of weeks-It felt like we struck gold! Jacinta and Ian kept us informed throughout around delivery times, especially as we had to travel up from Sydney. We managed to pick them up over the long weekend, in the time frame that was advised when we placed the order.

The bikes were all built fitted and ready to go and the team on the weekend were fantastic as well.

Looking forward to dropping in for the first free service in a couple of months and picking up a few bits and pieces. Highly recommend!

I recently had my bike serviced by the team at Gateshead Cycles and the bike rides like it is new again. Honest, upfront price and great quality service. I will be back when it's time to upgrade as there is some fantastic looking machines on the floor. Well done guys, keep up the fantastic customer service.

Brought a new seat staff very helpfull after the advised breaking in for a few weeks now very comfortable.
Would certainly recommend bay bikes much better to get advise than buying on line.

Very good service and loads of attention to detail to ensure my new tyre fitted the wheel correctly. Took time to explain to me why what I was doing wasn’t ideal. I live far away and will more than likely never be back, but I highly recommend this shop.
