Back In Motion Physio Semaphore

If youve been told you need a knee replacement then I would endorse the GLAD program. It's definitely worth trying. It has certainly strengthened my knee. Liam, the physio that runs the sessions keeps it lighthearted and tailor made to slowly build and strengthen joints. Back in motion in Semaphore is such a friendly environment, from reception staff to physiotherapists it helps you to complete the sessions and overcome some of the pain associated with needing a knee replacement. After years of RA, back pain and sometimes helpful chiropractic visits, it was suggested by my GP that it may be beneficial to explore physiotherapy. I was introduced to Liam to assess my condition, and he subsequently informed me of the GLAD program, which is designed for arthritis sufferers with hip and knee symptoms. I have now been attending twice weekly for a few months and have found that I no longer need to seek chiropractic and my back pain has greatly reduced, whilst also increasing muscle strength. Highly recommend to everyone who needs help in this area.

I was in agony from returning to a hard manual labour job, and Ruby did an INCREDIBLE job working on loosening up the tension in my back, neck and shoulders. I plan to regularly return for 'tune ups ' to keep my body in working order.

The range of motion I regained after just one session, it's definitely worth the price.

Highly recommend this practice! My hubby & I travel Australia full time in our caravan so when needing treatment for our aching backs we found Back In Motion Semaphore by chance. I’m SO GLAD we did.
The reception staff are all very friendly & Emily the Physio is fantastic. She really listened to our needs & was very professional in her treatment.
We now always book in a session (or 2) with Emily whenever we’re in Adelaide.

I had my first session with Daniel yesterday. He made me feel very comfortable and was great in informing me about the reasons behind the pain I have been experiencing and where to start in improving it. I will definitely be continuing my sessions with Back in Motion, recommend Daniel as he is a great physio.

'Love' and admire Tara. A terrific professional and person. Helpful and supportive but not afraid to challenge. i attended this practice YEARS ago and did not find it helpful but I am really impressed with Tara as a professional physiotherapist. The only thing I find really irritating is the continuous , vacuous and mindless dribble pouring out of the waiting room television set. Not an intelligent word emitted, especially if attending in the morning. Do we really need it or at least do we need the sound on?

BIM is a wonderful practise and Dan is a fantastic physiotherapist. He explained everything very clearly, listerned intently and answered all of my questions. I now have a positive outlook for the recovery of my injury. Thanks Dan. I will be highly recommending BIM to all my friends.

I booked in for a 60 minute remedial massage, and was informed that one of the physios would be doing this. While the staff were all very pleasant, I left feeling pretty disappointed with the service provided. What I received was more like a relaxation massage than a remedial one: the approach was haphazard (jumping back and forth between body parts with no apparent reason); technique was poor; and basic things (like covering just massaged muscles to keep them warm) were not done. Ultimately, I left with the impression that the physio had limited, if any, remedial massage training and that the business was offering this service simply to fill in gaps between physio appointments. I left not feeling much better than when I had entered.

The business also currently offers a 5% discount for Facebook likes, which strikes me as fairly cynical for a healthcare provider.

Don’t really rate the pregnancy massage. But the lady was nice
