Bunnings Maitland

Love me some Bunnings. This store: good friendly helpful staff. Good stock levels. Very busy/crowded though.

My names Tim and im in a wheelchair which obviously makes it hard to get anything from the isles, but luckily I had a bloke walk over and introduce himself as Jay Dennis. He began to say that even though he knows I'm quite capable to get what I needed, but he told me he didn't have much to do ATM and it would help him if he could help. He not only took me around to get everything I needed but the commentary he through in for a laugh had me in stitches, honestly he was heaps cool. He then carried everything to my car, if shopping was always like that I'd go everyday.

Will and Mark from Bunnings Rutherford, treated me with respect and was very helpful ... Went above and beyond for me today. Bunning's is very lucky to have such respectful and helpful workers. Thank you again Mark and Will for all your help.

Rose was amazing. She helped us through our issues and was there all the way through with a smile thank you Rose for your great customer service.

Ordered a Mimosa outdoor setting, with delivery to near Cessnock (they didn’t have one and weren’t helpful at all but that’s another story!).
One of the sofa chairs was broken, and I spoke with a nice young bloke Liam. He arranged pick up of the busted one, and delivery of a new one. No hassle - no quibble, a really positive experience.
Goodbye Cessnock - I’ll be off to Maitland in future.

It’s great to have a hardware store like Bunnings in Australia which is so good to get this for your diy project or for the tradies nearly every thing you need for things are right here and great prices most of the time . Even there is a cafe to grab a drink or something to eat while you shop or to sit down to eat it’s all here . So why not come here ,come see for yourself and see what you think

What an asset he is to our local store. He has helped me a few times with different items and is always happy to give advice when needed. Nothing seems to be an issue for him and his personality is awesome. He's a real joker yet very professional. He helped me the other day when I was struggling with a wayward trolley trying to buy an industrial fan. Who would have thought the trolleys work best when pulled backwards!!! Thanks Pat, your a real genuine guy and I will always be on the look out for your help each visit. Keep up the great work. Definitely deserves a new bunnings reward pin please

Came in looking for ANT SAND, which I didn't think would be a hard one, but the young bloke I asked looked at me like I was mental & said "Ant what?" & after repeating myself he said "I don't think that is a thing"...Not sure if he thought I was looking for sand to fill a sand pit in a Zoolander sponsored school or if I was yanking his chain, but the interaction was quite funny in hindsight. I spent some time wandering & eventually found what I was looking for & am now in the process of committing green ant genocide in my garden.

Five stars for giving me a laugh & for the actually decent coffee I got from the cafe.

Great advice and selection! Popped together this quick and easy island for our rental kitchen on a budget. Our new Charcoal BBQ/Smoker is another favourite!

Such a well maintained store! I had a bit of trouble finding a particular item but the staff member I asked for assistance was more than happy to help and even walked me to where it was. Thank you so much!

This place is great! You could literally spend ages in this store buying up a storm! Taking George there is awesome, he loves all the people, and especially other dogs.

The team member who helped me purchase a basic drill for odd jobs could not have been helpful. He understood I didn't require all the bells and whistles. Very happy with my purchase.

Being an avid but novice gardener I appreciated the extra time and tips given by David. With his problem solving and wisdom sharing - beyond just ‘buy this’… I felt genuinely supported in my gardening journey! At Maitland the category experts need to be rostered on for ‘expert hour!’ so we know when to catch them. Sometimes advice can be a little ‘light on the ground’, but staff like this go a long way to ensuring I come back..
