Don’t judge a book by its cover! This cafe doesn’t look like much from the outside but it is lovely inside with plenty of tables. There is a courtyard out the back which is lovely in the warmer months. Service is outstanding and the food is always top notch. Popular with locals.

Had the corn fritter special was great great prices and top service they catered our daughters wedding a few years ago and that was great to would recommend them highly and they make old-fashioned milk shakes I mean big ones served in the metal container and full to the brim $6 so much value for money

Always grab a coffee here before work. Staff are friendly and the coffee is cheap as well as delicious. The chai latte is always good! Highly recommend as they have such a nice and easy going atmosphere.

Teale is a wonderful cafe. Amazing coffee, good food and friendly staff. The outdoor area is a relaxed and lovely space to enjoy a sunny day. Thanks Anne for looking after us during our last trip to East Maitland.

Centrally located in East Maitland, this is a popular cafe providing a calm, peaceful experience coupled with an excellent range of quality food and good beveridges. There is options for inside dining or outside in a covered garden area. I took my sight impaired adult son here and he greatly enjoyed the experience. He wants to go back, so high praise indeed.

This might be Maitland's best kept secret. This nice little cafe serves good food and in a timely manner, with friendly staff. It's very nice food if there was one piece of commentary I would provide it's just a fraction too pricey if they found a way to decrease their pricing by 10% that would be my only comment. However I know people have got to survive and it is very nice food, well worth a visit!

I only drank coffee, but the smell of the food was so good. The coffee was really good, too. And they welcomed me with such a beautiful smile.I recommend it because I had a good time here.
