Vet HQ Double Bay

Vet HQ and all their amazing staff and our family have know each other for 5 years since we bought our little Mitzy home.

Despite the many bumps in the road, every single member of staff without fail have gone above and beyond to make us feel held and supported. Our dog has had the most magnificent care and sometimes we think she prefers to hang out at Vet HQ than at home😂

The vet's, nurses and Doggy Day Care girls always treat my 2 boys like family. I trust Vet HQ unconditionally with the welfare of my dogs. Charley and Boston are always excited to visit for vet care or day care. Geoff and his team deserve more than 5 stars.

Vet HQ is fantastic, in particular, Kristie and the cat boarding team. I have absolutely zero hesitation boarding my cat there for any period of time. It’s great to have the peace of mind knowing that he receives the best care during his stays and is often sad to come home.

The staff at the Darlinghurst clinic are also worth mentioning here, Dr Jess went above and beyond for Valentino on his first appointment conducting a house visit when I was housebound and unable to make it to the clinic during COVID lockdown due to a grade 3 ankle sprain.

Thank you Vet HQ for your unwavering support and commitment in treating all my 3 poodles. My beautiful Sage has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma. I can’t express enough how wonderful your team has been. I completely feel confident and comfortable with the management of my precious Sage. The entire staff have been remarkable. Taking time to explain and inform me of what is happening.

My maltese x shih tzu Maisie has been a regular at VetHQ Double Bay over the past few years due to various health issues the team carefully diagnosed and treated but has always gotten excellent care from all of the staff, led by Geoff. I know when she is there she is in safe hands and getting top notch treatment. The Darlinghurst team led by Jess, who were her original vets before we moved closer to Double Bay are also fantastic, and moving between practices was seamless as they both have her medical history.

Always had a pleasant experience with this vet clinic. We took our beautiful little poodle there for her health checks before the day came to say goodbye to her.
Kristie checked in with us throughout the entire process, and vet Caryn took us through each step with so much care and attention.

From the moment we rehomed Teddy (our beautiful fur child) 6 years ago, Vet HQ has been like a second family to him. The care, professionalism, friendly service and sense of community is unparalleled. I want to thank all the team that have been involved with Teddys health and care during this time, we always feel so confident he is being well looked after. I also want to make a special mention to all the daycare girls who have gone above and beyond to care for Teddy (he is an anxious dog) by giving him cuddles, hand feeding him, allowing him to feel he is an alpha dog and for then sharing his amazing adventures with us through photographs, personalised presents and regular updates. These souvenirs are cherished. Whilst everyone at Vet HQ seems to know Teddy there are some special people that have made ours (and his) life better. I am so grateful to Kristie, Caitlyn, Sara, Tony, Katie and of course Geoff. There are many other people (I don’t want to exclude anyone in the team because they are all amazing). The names mentioned have contributed so positively to his amazing life and we are so lucky we walked into Vet HQ.

We had our first pet visit with our 3 month old puppy. Our little pup was made to feel comfortable, calm and relaxed from the moment he stepped inside Vet HQ, and it was all thanks to our vet, Dr. Ivan! Dr. Ivan is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in taking care of young puppies and we are grateful for the thought and care given to our puppy - as our pup clearly had a very positive experience. Thank you to Dr.Ivan and the team at Vet HQ!!! 🐶

The team at VetHq are fantastic. My little Frenchie has been going there since she was a pup. The love and attention they give her is second to none. She actually gets excited and runs into the vet! I feel so comfortable and trust what the team tell me the best course of action is. My girl also attends doggy day care and has such a fabulous time, Kristi and her team are so patient and genuinely care about the animals. It’s so reassuring to know she’s having fun in a safe environment, with people who love her as much a so do. Kristi always goes above and beyond what the job requires and my girl adores her. It’s a great community :)

Thanks to VetHQ we found our beautiful Nina and Nemo! Love the staff from the Doctors to the Nurses, everyone super friendly and helpful with an incredible love for animals! Couldn’t recommend a better vet!

For the last 8 years we have been bringing Gizmo - our darling black cat - to Vet HQ for her general health and also for her to stay over whilst we go away. Kristie the cat boarding manager is beyond - the sweetest, most cat loving human (if you know you know) - she makes you feel like your precious baby is going to be taken care of to your standards and she delivers. Giving 5 stars for the entire Vet HQ team but especially for Kristie x

My dog Riley has been going to the doggy daycare for the past six months and he has the best time when he’s there! Friendly staff and Riley loves hangout with the team and play with his friends! Highly recommended! Thanks Kristie and the team of taking great care of him!

I have to commend the entire team at Vet HQ doggy day care. Kristie, Trish, Sarah and the entire team take really good care of my 8 year old poodle, Sundance. He loves them all and is always excited to spend the day hanging out!

Vet HQ have been incredible with our Labrador since he was a puppy. Their level of care is unparalleled and communication and commitment to providing the best service is remarkable. Milo LOVES every visit to the vet - from doggy day care to grooming to surgery and everything in between. Kristie is particularly amazing with him and gives him extra special care, love & attention! He is in such good hands with Kristie and everyone at Vet HQ!

I can't thank Vet HQ enough for how well they have looked after my Dalmatian over the years. Especially Dr Ivan. I highly recommend them for their professionalism and how thorough they are when it comes to looking after your loved ones. Recently our dog required an emergency procedure and the care and compassion they showed in comparison to some other (emergency) vet centres was so comforting, and I knew he was in the right hands.

Early last year our dog, Bodhi, was diagnosed with lung and pancreatic cancer, on top of an existing liver and heart condition. The prognosis was not good. Weeks, maybe a month or so. Dr Ivan broke the news and explained the options. Ivan kept in regular touch via text explaining blood test results, answering questions, responding to requests and providing calming guidance. Our decision to stop chemotherapy was fully supported. Ivan was with us every step of the way. He even came to our home at the very end (9 months after diagnosis) to help our beautiful boy pass peacefully and pain free. Ivan and nurse Katie’s presence was professional, calming and respectful.

We are so grateful to the team at Vet HQ Double Bay for their expertise and compassion…but especially Ivan, who went above and beyond to help make our Bodhi’s final lap around the sun manageable. Thankyou Ivan.

Vet HQ are our vet of choice. We highly recommend them.

These guys go above and beyond for their clients and patients. It can be extremely daunting finding a suitable vet for your best mate, but I can certainly say each and every team member at Vet HQ genuinely have your back when it comes to your pet. Such a great team 🩷🩷
