Staff at this branch were so friendly and helpful! We were attended to by Ms Heidi Abbott and she was not only patient and cheery, she went beyond banking services and answered our questions on parking, taxation file numbers etc! As foreigners, it helped put us feel at ease. Even the counter staff were super friendly. 6 stars if we could give that. Keep it up Westpac Hamilton!

The staff here make banking a breeze and a pleasure! They are incredibly patient with everyone, friendly, community minded and go out of their way to remember their customers and provide a smooth service.

Never had a problem at this Bank and have been going there for years. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Great service in a good location and quick and easy to use ATM located outside of the Branch

When you walk into the place has security guards not because of bank robbery it's because customers are frustrated .signs everywhere saying don't abuse staff. Banking systems haven't been updated since the 80s

About two or three years ago I discussed a mortgage with someone at this branch, a manager or a lender or something like that. I had an additional income at the time that was legitimately not taxable (as in, not required to be declared and not part of my taxable income), but instead of taking this income into account I remember being told "Well if you want to hide things from the tax office then we can't assess it" as if I was doing something dodgy (I wasn't). I left not only feeling like I'd been treated like a child, but that they didn't understand how a business owner's income works. I went with a different lender who actually understood how business works.

I just got a call out of the blue from the same person asking if I was still interested. She quickly steered the conversation back to the topic above, got extremely defensive, then started to act like a bit of a tool to be honest by talking down to me again, and condescendingly explaining how lending works and why they wouldn't help me. SHE RANG ME! It's almost like there wasn't a lot to do today and they were just trying to drum up an argument! With that sort of attitude it's no wonder they're ringing around trying to find business from leads that are three years old.

Definitely the weirdest phone call I've received in a while, and it made me so glad I don't do business with these muppets.

I found a hoard of old coins which I took into the bank, whom wouldnt count it or take it unless it had been counted.
So what exactly are these people being paid for? I dont get what my fees are paying for when I could manage my money myself.....
