99 Bikes Kogarah

After looking at heaps of bikes, I found a well priced option for my needs at 99 bikes - the teams level of customer service was spectacular and in particular Ana the staff member that helped me was great! Will be back :)

I have nothing but great things to say about the guys here, esp Dario, Ana and George. Dario has been a legend at maintaining my bike and giving me the opportunity to change my own bike tyres just to ensure I'm doing it right. Thank you too to Ana and George who have been really helpful with advice when I was there shopping for lights and a new bike for a friend I recently introduced to cycling.

Restored an old Rd bike and it's a beaut now. These guys are awesome 🙂 super friendly staff and very fast service.

Also has adapted for covid. Great to see you guys doing well 😊

2 years on update: I have taken my bike there for everything I've needed. Adam and Ana are two of the best staff that are always happy to answer my barrage of newbie questions. Always happy to help think of creative out of the box ideas as sometimes I am not able to go with the better more expensive option.

Ana, the staff member, is friendly and helpful. He possesses considerable expertise in bikes and was instrumental in ensuring we found the ideal size for my child's bike.

I would like to thank the guys Owen,Dario,James,for the way they handled my warranty with my cube sterio mountain bike,they were very professional with the way they went about it.I have also found all the team at kogarah have been happy to help with accessories and safety equipment guidance. Very recomended.

Visited 99 Bikes Carlton last Saturday afternoon with my son as he dropped his bike on the derailleur and couldn't select gears.
We arrived unannounced so at best expected to leave the bike there until the guys had the time to look at it.
But Dario immediately got stuck into it had the bike working 100% within 30 minutes. He was super helpful with his incredible service and his advice. Many thanks to Dario.
But the service and sales team at 99 Bikes Carlton has always been brilliant no matter who we've been helped by. Smaller issues get fixed on the spot and the more complicated ones always ASAP.
Highly recommend this business.

We are so happy with store manager Nick and his team at 99 Bikes Carlton. With lockdown looming, we decided to reach out to Nick after having a great experience buying a helmet 6 months earlier at their Bondi Store. We purchased three bikes, they had everything we needed in stock. They took the time to explain their 30 swap policy and fitted all the accessories to our bikes. They even helped play Tetris loading them into our car. I highly recommend anyone looking for a decent experience to stop in and see them, ask for Nick. Make sure you become a member, they have different level of pricing discounts.

I have nothing but praise for the team at 99 bikes kogarah. I bought an electric Velectrix Brunswick bicycle from them and their customer service was outstanding.

Unfortunately a month after buying this bicycle, the front light stopped working when they initially told me it would be covered under warranty. But after contacting Velectrix, it was discovered that Velectrix has stated on their website that lights are not covered under warranty. 99 bikes paid for the light and ended up giving me the replacement light without charging me. I don't believe Velectrix can legally not warrant a light or any part on a brand new bicycle even if they advise this on their website. I would have reported Velectrix to the Department of fair trading if 99 bikes hadn't replaced my light at their cost.

As with Velectrix, I will never consider their e-bikes again, and I suggest to others to stay away from Velectrix.

Had a great experience here. Spoke with Ana. Ana was helpful with pre and post purchase advice of a Merida crossway 500. Assisted with understanding how to remove the front wheel and also allowed a test ride in her company to check I was happy.

Great shop with a decent range of bikes in store. If you are looking for an ebike they have a great range of types and price ranges. Served by Dan who was amazing, so helpful, knowledgeable and lovely, what an asset to the store!
Highly recommend a visit if you are looking for a bike or ebike or need a service for your bike.

Complete novice looking for an economical all purpose mountain bike. Owen was extremely patient and helpful and didn't try to upsell me. Fitted me to a bike completely suitable for my needs. Very happy.

Great service on my road bike from Adam at 99Bikes Carlton. He and others on the team talked through different options with me, were patient with my questions and gave some solid advice. Have been able to book in at short notice without a problem. Definitely will be heading back here for my regular servicing. Highly recommend. The team on the retail side were also super friendly and helpful.

Always friendly helpful service at 99B Kogarah. And bike servicing is fast, efficient and great quality. Today I had great help from Ana who helped me replace a broken saddle post. It was near closing time but he was super friendly and helpful! Definitely 5 stars for this guy!

After having called 99 Bikes Carlton and speaking with Nick I swiftly placed my order. The service of this store is second to none! Nick had my order placed for delivery and hand delivered it himself the very next day to south west Sydney (Camden)!! Mitch in the workshop was phenomenally helpful, explained everything he did with the service so that even I could understand what was done.

I went into the store yesterday to buy some shoes, pedals and clothing. I was served by Andrew who I must say was an absolute professional from start to finish as he recommended sizing for my clothing, shoes and my pedals. I can’t give him more stars than 5 otherwise he deserves 10 stars. I’d highly recommend him and the store to everyone looking for any bike or cycling accessories.

Ana is a very helpful, patient person, he has an excellent knowledge about the bikes, great customer service and a happy person. We appreciate his help a lot. Ana did answer all our questions about the bikes and we ended up buying a new bike and some other products at your shop.
