My derailleur came off my bike last week and I use it regularly to get to work so it was important to get it fixed quikcly. Gave them a call on Monday and their rep Amy completely understood the problem and told me to bring it in on Tuesday for them to take a look.
Brought my bike in at lunch time, spoke to their repairman Graham who took a look and told me he'd be able to have it done by Wednesday morning. Got a call at 3pm on the same Tuesday that the bike was fixed and ready for pick up. Fantastic service and fantastic turn around. You can tell these people care and that's the reason you want to come here. Will be coming here for all my future bike needs.

I've been a happy customer of Blackman Bicycles for 21 years, since I bought a Giant Farago from them and had a babyseat fitted for my then 10-month-old son to accompany me on my first Sydney Spring Cycle. Since then, there's been a tag-along bike, a tandem, junior road and senior commuter bikes for cycling with my son ... and I still have my Farago. Graeme and his staff are experts in all thing bikes.They care about their customers and their workmanship, advice and service are always first class. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Blackman bicycles had been extremely helpful in selling me what I need and not what is most expensive, giving excellent advice when requested and being extremely quick and fair with repairs. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking to purchase a bicycle for any reason.

Two things I value is my car mechanic and my bike mechanic. Both are straight to the point and if it ain’t going to work, they tell you.
My family have been going to Blackmans for years. We’ve bought bikes, accessories, parts and services over the time and all have been top notch from all the staff, both past and present. I’ve had no problems with servicing of my bikes as they are seen to asap and if it takes a few days to wait for my spot, so be it.
I’m no tour rider but the help I get for my commute and road ride is great and would suggest if you are looking for help, do your home work yes, but also take on any advice given, you may be surprised.
My other passion is the restoring of vintage bikes. It’s good to get have someone look it over before you take it out. It will save you time, money and a bit of pain.
For me, i find Blackmans to be my go to bike shop and will continue to do so for a long time yet

Drop by 5min to closing time and Max provided top service as if I was the first customer of the day. The team at Blackmans Parramatta always do a great job.

Want to write couple words about Graeme since I've seen some bad comments into his address. He is the most qualified guy in Sydney 's shops in my opinion (I visited 3 shops here). He is oriented not for just sale but for help to find specific bike which is designed for your needs.

I did service my bike with them a week ago and everything running smoothly, last week I went there to ask for the crank remover as my brother trying to upgrade his bike following youtube and the guy just give me a free plastic crank remover which is so impressed as he does not have to do that. We went there again after my brother could not figure out how to adjust the gear and met the old man and he said he will look after my brother’s bike and make sure everything is safe and will finish his assembly.

Got a call to pick up my brother’s bike yesterday and we met Owen a nice guy who tell us how he goes with my brother’s bike and even advice us with how the gear cable should be and tell us about Parramatta Cycling group. My brother are very happy with his bike and keep talking about how good service you guys are.

Visited Blacktown store with my young boy to check if they can help with getting his soccer balls pumped and the two gentlemen at the store were remarkable and patient with his queries despite a few customers around and they taught him how to do it with a smile. Rare display of genuine customer service.

I needed a tube on my bike replaced. The issue wasn’t fixed while I waited. Fast and efficient service at this store. Extremely knowledgeable staff. An excellent variety of cycling products on sale here. Plenty of parking at the rear of the store. Nearby parking down the side streets. Open 7 days a week. Handy cafe located next door. I plan to revisit this store for all my cycling needs.

On route to a bike ride out to Windsor today but discovered that rear tyre had a puncture. No parking on Victoria Rd but there is parking for 4 cars at rear of store. Small range of bikes but prices seem reasonable. Super quick service on tyre to replace tube. Happy.

They actually listen & discuss your needs & objectives & provide accurate advice. Cheapest source of QUALITY BIKES when you weigh up their experience & reconfiguring abilities.

Excellent service and advice.

I required an entry level mountain bike (first time purchaser) and was fortunate enough to be served by Graham Douglas. He answered all my questions, supplementing my research and persisting with my annoying queries. As I was travelling overseas with the bike, Graham was gracious enough to partially set up the bike and prepare it to the appropriate standards - deflating the tires and cable ties galore to make sure nothing fell apart or was missing. Clearly they'd done this before 😄

While most people shun upselling, Graham provided the appropriate amount, considering what would and wouldn't be easily be available, what would be required for initial set up, and steering me away from gimmicks not required by novices.

While the helmet I payed for was forgotten, a quick phone call fixed all that.

There was a problem with the tyre of my kid's bicycle. I went to Blackman Bicycles to check this issue(tyre was coming off) and thought that this couldn't be fixed and had to buy a new bicycle.

The support was excellent. He explained that the problem was not with tyre and was with the wheel. As that model didn't come with hooks - it couldn't handle more pressure - it seems.

He fixed the issue. As I don't have much knowledge about this, he could have sold me new bicycle but he didn't do it. Instead he solved the issue.

Fabulous local bike shop. All staff are so helpful and friendly, taking extra time to explain everything to me after some enhancements were made to my bike. I've found my new permanent bike store!!! Also great prices, I can't recommend these guys enough.

I bought an E-bike this week from this bike shop and I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Graham. He assembled the bike the day after I ordered it and spent a lot of time with me ensuring that I was happy with the configuration and explaining the bike's features. Graham also changed the saddle for me to make it more comfortable, and fine tuned the bike to ensure that I had a fairly upright riding position, which is what I requested.
The service I received from Graham was excellent, and I'll certainly be having both of my bikes serviced at this shop in future.
