Only good experiences with Bernadette at this clinic. My dog gets very scared and anxious going to the vet but Bernadette is so good with her and she listens and takes the time to explain diagnoses and treatments to me.

Always seen with Eamon. Very thorough and never rushed . My Cavoodle is always taken care of with love & genuine care.

Always a great experience. Such caring kind staff expert knowledge and treatment. Nothing is too much trouble.Always good advice and help. Would highly recommend.

Just an add on, my little dog Jasper was cared for for 10 years by these wonderful people. Eamonn and Bernadette, the vets, and all of the kind caring staff. Unfortunately, as he was very ill in the last weeks, we had to make the agonising decision to let him go. The way this was handled with great dignity, compassion and care, made the decision for us a little easier. It was a peaceful gentle time for him and I thank you all for your care and kindness.

Really caring Vet, very thorough in determining the issue your pet may have, also will take your pets for boarding while you are away for whatever the reason, but with dogs they insist on a full vaccination history before they will board your dog.
I don't think that's a bad thing as it protects other dogs etc from the possibility of being exposed to viruses.

Always a pleasure seeing the team at Peakhurst Vet Clinic. Everyone here is so patient and understanding and they always take their time explaining everything our pet needs. It's so obvious that they really care about animals and making sure they provide nothing but the best for my cat, Stanley.

I just want to say I’m very happy with there over the phone service. I’m trying to transfer my cat from my sister and my self and when I needed some information they gave it to me. But then the email didn’t go through and they called me to tell me. And no place has ever done that before. This is the place my animals has always gone and always will

If I could give a million stars I would ! They treated our 17 year old pup Bonnie with such care and respect and us as a grieving family with so much love. Eamonn is an extraordinary human.
My Bonnie had a peaceful passing after years of care from all at this practice.

Bernadette and Eamon are both superb in every way. As are all the staff and nurses.
I have been taking all my fur kids there for over 20 years. Eamon's bedside manner is not for everyone, but he is super knowledgeable and a great vet!

If you’re looking for a genuine honest reliable vet that cares about your pet then go see these guys. In short 3 veterinarians at another vet did not know what was wrong with my cat and kept misdiagnosing him over a 2 months period. I walked in for a second opinion and the veterinarian diagnosed him in literally 3 mins from when I put him on the table. The same day organised a next day surgery appointment to have some infected teeth removed. Next day arrived 8:37am, 12:45pm lunch time I had a call that he was out of surgery and well, pick him up at 5:30pm. 2 months of pain and suffering by a popular vet Greencross compared to 24 hours problem fixed paid and done. The price was more than reasonable and the staff were caring and helpful. Well done my cat has a new vet to go to now. Don’t waste your time or money at other vets go straight to PVH.

Very compassionate receptionist who assisted me in having my cockateil put to sleep. I was not ready to let him go. I so appreciate the person's kindness to the distraught customer that came before her on that day.

Took our dog here for years until we sadly had to put her down. The love and care over the years was amazing and her final day was handled with such respect.

They may not look like the most flashy or new vet but their level of service trumps all others.

Could not thank enough the staff at peakhurst vet for their care of our old boy Sooty in his last weeks and days. Every effort was made to allow him a good quality of life for as long as possible. Special thanks to Eamonn who rearranged his day to allow us to bring our boy in a bit earlier in the day so as to not drag it out when the time came. Full respect was shown by the staff for our boys dignity and our need for some time to greive. The staff here care and it shows.

100% would recommend! Took our rabbits to this vet they were extremely helpful, gave them a check up and provided advices on how to care for our pet rabbits as we are new to this. We will definitely come back to this vet whenever our rabbits need to see a doctor.

New to the area. I went to a vet in padstow who wrongly diagnosed my dog with depression. he Refused to look at her properly. I went to peakhurst vet clinic with my dog after I had a gut feeling that it wasn’t depression. Both these vets did an amazing job with my dog, after closely examining her she was diagnosed with cancer. unfortunately we had to put her to sleep. Should have gone here in the first place and will continue going here for all my other dogs and animals. Well done to the vets. My dog is no longer in pain. Thank you again. Everything was done with care and professionalism
