The Light Boutique

I recently got 8 Bubble Pendant Light from The Light Boutique and it got delivered in few days and came in very good condition.

Buyer beware. It’s impossible to get a person on the phone at this business for actual support on items ordered. After over a week of emailing and texting, I was informed items were not in stock with restock not happening for another 12weeks time. I should have read the reviews from others facing similar difficulties before placing an order.

Should have read the reviews first - same experience, goods not dispatched, multiple attempts to contact them with rare replies saying they would ship the items then nothing. They have another business at the same address called Karter that has a phone number that is sometimes answered, unlike the phone number listed for the light boutique. That person just says they'll call the warehouse and get someone to call you back but they never do.

SCAM!! Do not buy from this company. We ordered $450 worth of lights, all seemed fine until they didn't show. No answer to our phone calls, text messages and emails, very frustrating....

Ordered and paid for lights, and received invoice and no follow up into been weeks
Sent emails to the company and no reply
Perhaps we all should go knock on their door

Returned the lamp I bought because the quality was so poor - company not responding to email and not able to leave voice mail. Feeling ripped off and annoyed

I placed an order on the 19th December for an expensive table lamp. I received an automated order email. I paid around $40 for delivery which according to their website, items would be dispatched within 1-2 working days.

There is nowhere on their site which says they are closed for a considerable amount of time over holiday period. The phone number just rings and you go through to an answer machine. I have also emailed twice now with zero reply.

I feel like I have been scammed so I have had to go through my bank to dispute the $217 I paid.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered. Very responsive with enquiries before sale. Item received significantly not as described, and The Light Boutique is not responding to any of my messages. I light I purchased was over $500.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE! We purchased some lights that weren't quite right. We called to request a refund and spoke with a lady who gave an address to send it too. It has been a month since the delivery was returned and received with a signature and I have called her and emailed her about 20 times with no response. Still waiting for our refund. Absolutely disgusting service. I am about to take this to Fair Trading to try and re coup our costs.

Do not buy anything from this business. Once they have taken your money that's the end of it. I purchased two lights, parts are missing, they could not even send the right lightbulbs for the lights which I paid extra for. Despite emailing and leaving numerous phone messages I have never been called back. My advice would be find a lighting shop who cares about their customers, The Light Boutique is not that place, this business gives online trading a poor name.

Do not waste your time on this shop !!!!!

Ordered light 27/3 no delivery, no answer to phone number, DODGY!! I should have read the previous reviews before purchasing!
