The Beaches Vet

The Beaches Vet is fantastic. I wasn't happy with my Vet, and a friend recommended to see Andy, and he has been amazing. He goes above & beyond with his service, happy to answer any questions I thought of out outside of a standard consult, and he is a genuine caring person. He is great at communicating all options & risks, and helps us select a path that's best for our cat, but doesn't break the bank. We are very lucky to have him as our vet.

Our little Peanut is so well looked after every time we have visited and both Andrew and Nat always go over and above, even to the point of calling while they were on holiday to check in on Peanut.

Andrew and Natalie are phenomenal. I have been to many vets over the years with my anxious poodle x and they have by far been the most compassionate and kind and this reflects in my dogs overall demeanour both before and after visiting the beaches vet, He is a lot more relaxed overall and I would trust them completely to take the best care of him.I work at a local doggy daycare and the feedback I get from fellow beaches vet clients (and there are many of them!) is outstanding and its not hard to see why given the level of care both Andrew and Natalie provide to their patients, The lovely lady on reception is also wonderful!

After our dog had a recent severe case of AHDS we switched vets after hearing about the beaches vet from friends/reviews. We saw Dr Andrew and we cant believe we hadn’t taken the leap sooner. The practice itself is beautiful and feels warm and inviting. Doesn’t feel like a vet practice at all which I love. This for our dog has been so helpful as he is already anxious going to the vet. Dr Andrew has been an amazing help, no question is ever too silly to ask. He has taken the time out of his own schedule to call back and go through my concerns/worries. My partner and I are so impressed with how he handled our dog with his recent visit, he wasn’t too hands on with him as he understood how anxious he is, he let us hold him to get examined/be injected. Past vets we have been to haven’t cared nor taken the time to be respectful to let us hold our dog to be examined..resulting in him becoming more anxious/reactive. We are so glad we found the beaches vet and will continue to bring our dog here. If you are after a vet that is not only professional but respectful AND caring, definitely make the jump to this beautiful family owned practice.

We are new to this practise but over the past few weeks there has been quite a few visits with our two dogs. These guys are exceptional. 10 out of 10 for the whole experience. Everything about them is professional and easy. Very caring and intuitive vets. And must mention - with a good sense of humour. Thanks Natalie and Andrew.

Huge thanks to Andrew and the team for looking after both Summer and Sam this week. I’ve been taking my pets to Andrew and Natalie for years and can’t recommend them highly enough. You want your fur babies in the best possible hands and they epitomise this. They’re kind, compassionate and care deeply for each pet. Pretty amazing with their owners too!!! It’s why I travel across the Spit Bridge to see them instead of going to any number of closer vets.

The team at Beaches Vet are so caring, they genuinely love my dog! I'm sure they extend that care to all animals in their charge. They are thorough and professional, with the latest equipment and healthcare knowledge. Prices are fair, and the environment is spotless, we are always welcomed with a smile. The team at The beaches vet are so lovely. We took our Frenchie in for a procedure to make it easier for him to breathe and the team looked after him and us with compassion and patience. He is a new dog and is now pretty well fully recovered. No question was too silly and the care they showed to us and our dog was amazing. Thank you Nat and your incredible team.

I have been taking my dogs to Beaches Vet for over 4 years now after a recommendation from a friend. I was at another vet’s but wasn’t happy with it.
It is owned by a wonderfully professional couple who are amazing with my dogs. Andy kept my gorgeous Border Terrier living and loving life for 2.5 years more than my previous vet predicted. She passed at 15.5 yrs and was a beautiful happy dog. I still have a 11yr old Border and a 7 month old Labradoodle which I take to them when needed.
The staff at Beaches are always so helpful and fit you in as soon as possible which is just what you need if you are worried about your animal. Throughly recommended this practice.

So glad I chose Northern Beaches Vet, led by Andy & Nat who I now class as the dream team! My dog required the removal of a lump and the surgery was well, not exactly straight forward. Nat was confident that she could remove the lump and that she did, absolute genius. And her hubby Andy, is such a lovely guy and an awesome vet as well. Don't even think twice if your pet needs a vet, these guys are legends!

I recently visited The Beaches Vet for a second opinion on our german shepherd after having recurring symptoms dismissed elsewhere. I can confidently say this was a wonderful experience. As a pet owner, finding a trustworthy and compassionate vet is so important, and I am thrilled to share my positive experience with Natalie and Andrew and we will continue bringing our beloved pets here for care! Dr Natalie and Dr Andrew Slade are the best vets I have met yet. They are compassionate, caring and highly skilled surgeons who go above and beyond the call of duty.
My dog was so sick!
They have helped heal him not only in the surgery but with post-operative care through phone and emails on a daily basis.

Outstanding experience. I came to the vet on my holiday with no appointment and one very sick pooch! I was impressed by all the 5 star reviews and I can see why - Dr Andrew and Dr Natalie were first class in diagnosing and helping my pooch become his normal self in no time. We used the vet and overnight hospital service they offer. At all stages they were confident and reassuring with clear communication. They did not push me to have any unnecessary ultrasounds or X-rays and were considerate on both care and cost. My baby is back to smiling and playing and I can confidently say a first class experience.
They rest of the team were just so lovely and friendly! Thank you so much! X

We are so blessed to have this caring practice in our local area. Our sweet girl was looked after for checkups, vaccinations and boarding here. When the unimaginable happened and our cat passed suddenly in a road accident, Bella went above and beyond to collect her from another vet, where she was dropped to, and gave us the time and space to decide between burial and cremation. Thank you for providing such incredible, compassionate care. We will not forget it.

We can't speak highly enough of The Beaches Vet. They've been amazing with our Groodle, Oscar, since the day he was born. Their attentiveness and genuine care are second to none.

So happy at Beaches Vet. Coco (dog) is 16 years old and has had various issues from Cushings Disease (correctly diagnosed at first visit) though to various old age ailments, problems with eyes and disc issues. Andrew & Natalie are always welcoming and treat pets and owners with empathy and compassion. They offer a variety of solutions where possible and do not only present expensive options. Visits are followed up with phone calls checking up on your pet. Would highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Beaches Vet highly enough. Both Andrew and Natalie owners of this incredible practice and their amazing team, are highly skilled and incredibly competent in their knowledge of animals and how to treat their illnesses and ailments. They are all some of the kindest, genuine, most caring people you could ever engage with!
If you want someone to care and love your beloved pets like you do, and not be charged ridiculous prices, use The Beaches Vet. You won't be disappointed!! They are the best of the BEST! :)

Such accommodating kind people. We had a dog emergency just before they were due to close, when 2 of our dogs ate a whole lot of chocolate. They stayed open to help us, with such kindness and compassion. Couldn’t ask for more. We will definitely be taking our 3 dogs to Beaches Vet from now on. Thank you!
