Chatswood Private Hospital

I extend my sincere gratitude to all the kind staff members who provided exceptional care during my daughter’s sinus and other surgeries. From the receptionists to a doctor, a anesthesiologist, and nurses, each person demonstrated kindness and professionalism. I would especially like to express my thanks to Dr. Bill Johnston and Nurse Minji Kim for their outstanding support and care. Their dedication made a significant difference in our experience.

I had cataract surgery, and was in Chatswood Private overnight twice in the space of one week.
It was the best experience with Dr Oscar Kwon as my anaethetist, and Dr Jay Yohendran as my surgeon. I was so very nervous for the first cataract operation. However, after realising how excellent the care is, I was more relaxed with the second cataract operation.

The room I had was very comfortable. The meals were of a high quality. Only complaint. I wish a piece of fruit for breakfast could accompany the cereal.

At reception and checking in for the operation, all staff are really lovely, and you are not kept waiting long after arrival, which is great if you are very nervous, as I was for my first cataract operation.

The nurses are all very professional and caring, having a little chat to relax you. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I do not like bothering staff and pressing the buzzer. However, they encourage you to call if you have any worries at all. You are not made to feel a nuisance, as in some hospitals I have been in.

To summarise, this would have to be the best private hospital I have been to. Whilst I hope I do not need to, I would not hesitate to return to Chatswood Private, and highly recommend it after my experience.

A well presented and relaxing waiting area is what I noticed first.
The staff were helpful and friendly and treat you with respect and dignity.

I had a great experience at the hospital. The medical team was so supportive, kind and attentive. I had a day surgery there and a nurse also called me up the next day to check if everything was alright.

I could not fault the care provided by this hospital for my daughter during her recent eye surgery. All staff went above and beyond to make us feel as comfortable as possible. I do not remember hearing such kind, compassionate voices in such a long time. Well done!

Had surgery here. After a really scary recovery after my last surgery at a different hospital, I was met with beautiful nurses both male and female who went out of their way to make me feel safe and pain free. They all went above and beyond. My anathesist was fantastic and was calming and had excellent bed side manner and was there to offer me medication that really took the edge off. I’m so grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to go back there again! It’s my second surgery with the Same surgeon who is always good too. I saw another surgeon with his patient he was blunt and didn’t take the time or want to answer his patients questions and I was grateful for mine. Thank you to Dr Naidoo, Dr Chau and all the wonderful staff at Chatswood!

The care I have received from Chatswood Private Hospital during my wisdom teeth surgery was something I could only describe as top notch.

Being my first time undergoing surgery, I was naturally anxious but the nurses who went over my details and got me ready did a great job at reassuring me and even shared their own experiences. Hannah, my recovery nurse also did a lovely job in ensuring I was comfortable after waking up from general anaesthesia.

Having visited other private hospitals for my relatives' surgeries, I can easily say none of them come close to CPH, in terms of modern facilities, service and cleanliness. I'm from the southern suburbs but it was worth travelling halfway across Sydney at 6 in the morning, without anything to eat or drink, for this quality of service. I know I was in the best hands during my stay and will without hesitation, recommend anyone requiring eye, ENT or oral surgery to explore their options here.

My daughter has had two ENT operations at Chatswood Private Hospital. The admin staff took the time to explain my health fund coverage to me, while the nurses fussed over my daughter and made her feel comfortable and relaxed. We both had great experiences there, on both occasions! Highly recommended.

Great facilities and excellent staff including caring nurses and good receptionists! The service was amazing and they made sure I was comfortable during the surgery and after.

I came here for the removal for all 4 of my wisdom teeth, fantastic service the whole way. All hospital staff were very kind and the whole vibe was very relaxed and controlled :)

Professional staff and service. Fair walk for disabled people as no parking in the building. Watch out if dropping off, CCTV everywhere for a hefty parking fine. Xx

My mother was Day only patient there yesterday. Lovely hospital, very efficient and the staff are all delightful. Couldn't recommend more highly.......many thanks to all 🌹🌹
