Country Plaza Motel Taree

Arrived Friday night and they catered to my late check in and late check out which was great! Room was very clean and nice, felt like a hotel room. Very happy with Country Plaza Motel. Staff were extremely friendly! I'll be back again. Thanks

We had an issue with Agoda putting us to the incorrect room, got to the motel, called Tanya and she was extremely helpful and came down to meet us and assist us on getting to the family room. Family room was spotless clean and organised, everything worked, air conditioner, shower, lights and everything was very comfortable, first class sheets, good pillows. We are thankful to the team at the country plaza motel Taree. Highly recommend them.

I had a vehicle breakdown on the Pacific Highway and was tow truck took my car to the Ford dealership. The motel was opposite. I knocked on the office door about 9.30pm and was greeted by the Tanya, the manager.
Nothing was too much trouble for her over the course of the next few days while I waited for my car to be repaired. Tanya and her staff went above and beyond good customer service. The motel is not in the city centre, and as I had no transportation, I was even asked if I wanted them to get take away food for me. New management is certainly making a massive difference, and I must recommend this place to any traveller or holiday maker. Many upgrades are being done, and I can't wait to come back.

Booked the deluxe king suite. Clean and comfortable room. As good as it gets for a motel stay. Price is reasonable via Agoda booking.

Booked well in advance, allocated room 6. Opened door and nearly cracked my shins on the edge of the bed which was close to the door. Asked my wife if she'd like a glass of wine only to find ONE Glass only provided. So went to have a glass of Scotch each only to find ONE Glass only provided,
Went to Reception only to be told "Sorry we have no extra Wine Glasses", Walked back to the room, decided to sit on the 2 seated couch in the SMALL alcove and relax only to find there is NO LIGHT in the ceiling in this area and to top it all off, they provided an upright lamp stand with NO Power point for connection.
Finally we note that there is NO soap holder provided in the shower.

Excellent, clean, and well laid out room. Motel is at the end of town, where it is quiet.

Excellent stopover motel from Sydney to the Gold Coast.

It's an older motel but has been very tastefully renovated. Our king room was on the 2nd floor and like all the rooms there had a table and chairs combo that was perfect for having a drink at the end of the night.

The use of timber in the renovations has made this very nice. A small sofa gives you somewhere to sit inside. Good pressure in the shower too - always a plus!

One (minor) gripe/suggestion that would make this place near perfect - the bed was somewhat "firm" and would really benefit from a mattress topper.

Overall highly recommended. This is in my save list for future stopovers in our travel.

We stayed on the night of the 23/7. We chose the Deluxe King Room.
Very clean, tidy, fresh towels. Within walking and driving distance to all venues.
Shane is in the perfect job. Great people skills. Will definitely be staying again.

Recently changed management in Dec 2021, been in different rooms, all are tidy and clean. Great hot water shower. Petite room but enough for comfortable stay. The 2 family rooms are bigger. Super friendly lady owner Helen, so helpful in ALL aspects. Good size parking space. Clean and good size swimming pool. Highly recommand to stay when travelling to Taree.

The motel is a credit to him and his STAFF, so so clean and very comfortable I would say it’s the BEST motel I’ve stayed in for a long long time. The room had a king bed and heaps of room so close to the club which is what we wanted. Thanks again to Shane,and I must say great guy to talk with!!! 👍👍👍

Fantastic. Shane took on our booking for three rooms at an ungodly hour on Friday night. Our rooms were warm and welcoming, the beds were super comfy and exactly what we needed. Thank you Shane for your hospitality, made our stay effortless 👍🏽

Massive bang for your buck. Comfy bed, crisp sheets, and great shower pressure, beautifully maintained with a pool! It's not right in the centre of town so it is quieter with lovely owners. Excellent value for money and a perfect pit stop on a road trip. If only all motels were like this! Even has cycad palms in the garden and our room had a tea pot, jackpot!

Perfect spot to stop over if travelling from between Brisbane and Wagga Wagga. Hotel is just off the highway at Taree. Room was a decent size, clean and comfortable for an overnight stay.

Probably one of the best check-ins. I stayed with Comfort Inn Taree previously and after a good couple of months returned and upon entering the front of house concierge greeted me with my name and welcomed me authentically. Had a banter and checked me in quick smart. Surprised and delighted. A great clean joint with exceptional service levels. Well done!

From the moment we called Shane, who was very friendly and professional doing the booking, to the spacious room, king-sized bed, good pillows, cleanliness and location. We will definitely keep this place in mind foe a next trip between Sydney and Queensland.

We had a great stay the room was very clesn and the linen and towels were excellent quality. Would highly recommended for short stay.
