Very helpful service! I phone ordered a wide mouth carboy and beer bottles for kombucha and they arrived to brisbane in 2 days! I will be ordering the same again so I can have two batches going :)

This store is a gem, definitely the best one in the city for all your brewing needs.
The staff is really knowledgeable and approachable, and don't belittle you when asking questions, in fact, it's one of those places that even going to browse or grab something small will allow you to come out with more knowledge than before.

I started brewing with their 5L Extract kits, range is quite diverse. Then I moved on to BIAB. Just grab one of their available recipes and you will be fine. Instructions may be difficult to read (understand), but I think it is just because I'm new to brewing. Everytime I had a question, they have replied to emails very quickly, also very helpful on the phone.

Highly recommend H+G as your go-to shop. I have to cross the bridge, commute over 70mins to get there, and still prefer them over my local shop.

We were just here to grab some items for a commercial 50L keg tapping. The sales rep was amazing, listened and answered all our stupid questions as first timers, and even assisted in connecting the coupler, gas, hosing and dispenser so we are ready to go. A+ Customer service! We will definitely be returning customers.

Best shop on Sydney for picking up all your homebrew supplies. We order grain on a regular basis and they are always prompt with excellent service and open at useful hours for getting brews done. The staff are super nice and help too.

Essentially anything you need for brewing (or pickling or sourdough or many other things) you can get at this place. The staff are super helpful and knowledgeable and you can really trust they are giving you the best advice possible.

What an awesome place! I’d highly recommend coming here as a starting point for any aspiring home brewer. We came here seeking advice on my partner’s mini-keg setup and they quickly sorted us out! Most lovely and knowledgeable person ever!! This place is an Aladdin’s cave of brewing with everything you could need to start off your own home brewing kit. We will definitely be back for more supplies soon.

I am an online customer as I don't live in Sydney. Each time I have ordered it's been processed and out the door within hours! Stuff from here arrives faster than things I order in my own city. The recipes I have tried so far have been excellent and the instructions very clear and easy to follow. They also have a ginger beer recipe on their site which is great! My only suggestions is that it would be good if they put the fermentation temperature of the yeast on the info with the kit. I keep ordering ones that need to be fermented colder than I expected and have to clear out a spot in the basement. I need to remember to google the name of the yeast first in the future.
I hope one day I can visit in person!

These guys and gals have bent over backwards to accommodate my orders, needs and wants. Great packing skills, shipping glass across Sydney in one piece (though not recommended). PS. I will return the extra bungs one day, it'll be good to see the shop, cheers!

Very helpful! I bought a good sized C02 cylinder here, and for whatever reason it was empty. I let them know, and Nicky and Dallas were amazingly helpful, even dropping a replacement off to me! Thanks guys - such great service!

I very rarely leave reviews but Hop & Grain truly deserve 6 stars. The online ordering process is seamless and they have a great range. They are also incredibly responsive to communication and seem genuinely friendly. You can probably find cheaper stock at other stores but for me the slightly higher price is well worth the excellent service and fast dispatch.

Now this is a shop to get excited about shopping in!
