The wonderful staff are always so caring and friendly and they really seriously know their cats! They're always very accommodating with appointments... and even send helpful reminders for vaccines etc... theyre partnered with double bay vet and do an exceptional job of coordinating transport over there should your pet need it ❤

Found this vet by chance via a google search and visited for the first time today and - wow. Outstanding service for our little puppy Peanut, from the initial phone call all the way through to the actual appointment with the lovely vet, Kevin. This initial visit spoke volumes to us about not only the genuine care they have for the animals they look after, but also the often anxious and overwhelmed fur parents (guilty). Will be coming back and recommending to friends - thank you again Kevin and team.

I had my first visit this week to have a health check for my little kitten as this vet is close to Light Rail station. The doctor and the staff are very nice person and they play with my kitten and my friend’s kitten a lot - very knowledge and helpful. We also got our kittens first Vaccination as well. The price is reasonable and the service is professional.

Both my cats go here, I’m not too sure on how one of them may have been towards the vet as my cat can be a bit of a brat but the other was very affectionate to the staff. I appreciate the advice I have been given and the treatment they receive here as they really do care about the animals they see.
I find the good sign is there is no distress from my cats when they visit, it’s more so annoyance at the fact that I’m leaving them.

Great place friendly service and very good with my dog

I've been taking my dog to Pyrmont vets regularly as he has a few health conditions. All of the staff at Pyrmont Vets (including the receptionists, vet nurses, technicians and vets) have been friendly and professional on every occasion. The vets have really taken the time to explain everything to me and I have a lot of trust for their opinion. I can tell the staff truly care about my dog, and it brings me some comfort when I have been needing to leave him in their care.

I have visited this Vet a few times and I am quite happy with their care, customer service and empathy towards our dog. I also feel like their not trying to grab your money or take you for a ride like my previous vet did.
Their consulation is $90 for our dog who is almost 12 years old and the cost of her medication tablets werent too steep for about $30-$40. Not bad tbh compaired to another vet that charged me $95 and referred me to give her so many different treatment when she didnt need it previously. Id definitely go back.

Excellent service and very respectful. They have tended to both our puppy and kitten and each time the staff spend plenty of time discussing the pets health and answering our questions. They also provided information packs to assist you with any questions you may have.

Thank you Finn for giving George his bravacto. We have such a hard time giving him his tablet. Finn I can honestly say you have the patience of a saint. You persevered and gave it time made George comfortable and stayed so positive. We will definitely be coming back to see you in 3 months. We will book George's check ups at pyrmont vet from now on, and we will be asking for you to assist. A big thank you again Finn.

First time visit after moving to Pyrmont and treated as though they had cared for our 11yo dog since she was a puppy. She was there for teeth cleaning, but, at bo extra cost, the vet checked her over and found three small cysts in a mammary gland which weren't there when she had her annual vax in June. Thankfully, they were benign, but the thoroughness and care shown for her that day has sealed where she will receive her veterinary care from now on. Very grateful to have found somewhere we can trust.

Nice, friendly, took time to answer questions (a nice change from my last vet), competent (hard to judge as a layman but my dog still has 4 legs and isn't scared to go here, so that's a big positive sign).

Prices seem reasonable, and nice location with cafe right next door, and pirrama park a block away.

2022 update: 👍🏽

We have had both our cats treated and boarded at the Pyrmont Vet. The staff have always gone above and beyond to assist us with our pets. The head vet, Sally, well and truly exceeded our expectations in her care for our previous cat before he died. She was truly marvellous and incredibly caring. All the staff are extremely patient with our rather eccentric current cat, who is terrified of new places and new people.

This place is so great my puppy will drag me in there if we walk past just so she can say hi to the staff.

You can tell they really do care about the animals there which makes them feel more relaxed and comfortable about being checked out which makes me feel better.

They're open till 7 on week days which is a big bonus if you work and it's usually pretty easy to get an appointment the same day you call.

They were very helpful and friendly. Thanks for everything theyre feeling much better.

We trust this vet since 2 years now with our Princess Nalla. They are the best we met so far.

Staff are lovely, always kind to the pets and happy to answer questions. When we had our cat stay over a few nights they called to give status updates on how he was getting on.
