Ok first off, fantastic firewood and fast delivery but OMG can I please talk about the absolute gem of a lady in the office? I missed her name, but I have called twice now to order wood, and she is charming and funny and caring and just an absolute joy to deal with. I will keep ordering from these folks just because I adore talking to the lady who takes the orders. Keep doing what you are doing because you make my day every time I call!

They are nice, friendly people and at $0.32 a kg you can't ask for much more.
Of course the wood can be wet, it's kept outside but it burns in a log burner for a couple of hours.

Although more expensive than the "facebook" and "classifieds" sellers these guys have really good firewood that burns well.
If the wood is 10% more expensive but is good solid wood that burns twice as long as others then you are actually saving a lot of dollars.
You can also choose to pay for all redwood. I got a ute load of red wood only at a 20% premium but it lasted 3 times as long as any wood I have bought from cheap online sellers. And was easier to clean the fireplace as the wood stays in ash bricks instead of turning to dust.

Sapphire Coast Firewood Queanbeyan are great. I can't fault them. From my initial enquiry phone call, to phoning to order the firewood, and through to the delivery, the service was both pleasant and professional. The wood arrived at the designated time, and I received a phone call prior to arrival as requested. The firewood was as described, and the quantity was actually what was paid for.

After having cut my own firewood for years, the first two places I tried to source wood from over the past couple of months were most disappointing (the loads were well under weight, and full of dirt/rocks etc).

If you are looking for firewood, based on my recent experience I have no hesitation in recommending Sapphire Coast Firewood in Queanbeyan.
