Nielsens Park

It is a great place for the kids to play in the playground. Dogs have fun in the play area, and it is a good area for adults to rest and have a break. They have lunch there too.

Stunning park and walking track to burn off some energy. The beach ⛱ sand is white and water colour is ever changing.

At hervey bay it's well worth it just to relax motel was nice as well.its called Shelly beach motel😎

Great place to visit with the young grandchildren

Anzac service here was peaceful, touching & beautiful. On yu Diggers. Lest we forget.

Beautiful place to have a family picnic

A fabulous linear park that stretches along the Esplanade. Walks, gym equipment, dining, BBQs, seating and much more. A must do jaunt when you visit Wide Bay.

Great spot, nice ocean view and breeze with easy access, available opposite is, Cody's coffee, Madison's seafood and Planet 71 ice creamery. Plenty of shelters, kids playground, toilets are usually clean. Taps, water bubbler, heaps of bins and did I mention direct access to main beach!

Very lovely place. Nice white sandy beaches. Plenty of street parking.

Nice boardwalk along Esplanade

Walked my dog on the beach. Peaceful, no one or other dogs, took my dog Pixie for a swim. Walked a couple of hundred yards in the humid heat. Back into the beautiful cool clean water, then headed home. We are so very spoilt in Hervey Bay. Nielsons Park is cared for so well by our Council. A delight to visit. The walkway along the Esplanade and the beach is beautiful, shady and cool. Seats provided, makes it very comfortable. Picnic areas provides, great family meals & memories.

A beautiful little Park that protects you from the scorching sun while you walk to the beach.

Great place for the kids, fenced,picnic on the beach or in the shade of the park.on the beach side of esplanade. Shops across the road close to everything. Dog friendly.

Location!Location! Beach front with shady trees along the foreshore.. The current managers are just the nicest people and helpful if needed... Fish & chip shop at the entrance and pub across the road what more could we campers need... LOVE THIS PLACE..

Grab a ☕, grab some ☀ and take ⌚ to enjoy the outdoors. The ⛵ were out on the water 💦, the ocean was clear and the park provides clean facilities and all the trees, views, parking and access to the beach 🏖
