Bunnings Cairns

Absolutely LOVE this place! Has everything I need and have spent many many hours throughout the years in here buying products to help new a DIY pro and not requiring to call 'pros' for jobs I can now do myself.
The only dislike are the increasing prices in everything.
There are noticeable increases throughout their whole range be it from the third party companies and bunnings passing the increase on or bunnings themselves increasing the prices of everything...

Bunnings has been my favourite one stop shop since l bought my house last year. All of my timber, paint, wallpaper, lighting and plants have come from Bunnings and l’m successfully turning my Plain Jane home into something amazing. I love that l don’t have to drive all over town to get what I need, and it’s saved me a lot of fuel and time. I’m getting lots of great ideas from the Bunnings Renovations videos on YouTube which show you how to easily create beautiful things, step by step.

Just wanted to say that Roger from the gardening section was so helpful with helping me select the right weed and feed for my lawn. He explained the difference in lawns and the treatment of different weeds that I didn't know. I recommend this bunnings and ask for Roger he was very knowledgeable

The lovely gentleman named Peter greeted me in such a warm and genuine way, then fetched a trolley for me, a trolley he said he had just checked and was ready to go! Peter made my shopping experience in the garden section so pleasant! Thank you!

5 stars for the Bunnings Cafe ladies (Tamika, Kyla, Kim, Marina) Love coming in for a bite to eat as the ladies greet everyone with a smile and the food tastes good. Love the toasties!

Wayne is absolutely go to person, nobody knows as much as him, won't even talk to anybody else, whatever I need, he knows where it is or where else to get it, lucky for portsmith they have him around, for tradesmen an absolute must have, if he is not busy, as everyone seems to think the same as me.. 😀

A massive shoutout to Shaz!! She not only helped us, she pretty much made us a kit for our tv stand , told us the most affordable option and multiple ways . She’s a great employee, great customer service skills and just all and all a good employee

Had a young man by the name of Jordan help me out today was pleasantly impressed by his service.

I went in for a new whipper snipper, ready to buy the cheapest option available which in Hind sight wasn’t the best option.

Jordan listened to what I had to say took in account my budget also inquired as to what tools I had at home already, which I mentioned I had some Mikita tools. So instead of getting the basic no name brand she showed me an option that would be compatible with the battery I currently use for my drills. He also explained that they had just the sink only option or for abit more I could get extra batteries that would fit my drills plus a charging bank.

This was also a much cheaper option then if I wanted to buy extra batteries by themselves which I did need as my current drill battery doesn’t last long.
Excuse the long review I was honestly surprised by this young man’s knowledge and his treatment of me. Quite often I am snubbed when attending this store or treated like I’m abit silly but Jordan listened to everything I had to say and didn’t rush me.

Was served by Rory in the timber section, even though it was the end of his shift he didn’t hesitate to help us out , still went out of his way to help us out , gave us all the right advice for our cat enclosure and is all around just a great bloke

Came to bunnings to buy a simple rake to my surprise none on the floor all on top stock.......

Just a nice quick stop at Bunnings again 😊 Got my “Ducting Vent” for $10.14. Size 140 x 140mm. Suits 100ml ducting. ‘Haron’ brand. Part number: 55W, white. It will work well with my dust extractor x

Went into Bunnings Cairns today and was greeted by Rodger who was so lovely and helping me with my landscaping enquiries. Took the time to explain what was best for what I was trying to achieve. Thank you again for your help and would recommend this Bunnings.

My favorite Bunnings by far! I use this store a lot and know half of the staff at this point! they are always so helpful and just seem to know everything! Couldnt get through my DIY projects without them!

Today's shopping at Bunnings cost me $500+. More new stuff coming to my home next month. This storage box is good for all your toys in one box. The storage units on the trolley with other stuff cost me a few hundred dollars money well spent a couple of weeks ago.

Excellent store. Enormous range of products and very helpful and friendly staff.

Their service is second to none, especially the team at the trade counter. Advice from all the people is good and very helpful. They know exactly where items are and provide assistance as required. Highly recommend.

My local home hardware store..... got everything and most things I need. Friendly staff always at hand to provide good advice, directions, hints and tips on how to fix things around the home efficiently and economically!!

Always able to find what I need and evidently things I didn’t know I needed.
Easy to get around and find things using the website that gives you the isle and bay location.
