Morialta Falls Carpark

It's the best to come early as the place is very popular. If you can't find park at the top, there is more car parks at the bottom near the playground. The walk up the road is also pleasant and more chance to see koalas.

If you’re going with a dog (furry friends) then I recommend parking here to start with. Dogs are NOT allowed in the falls (even the track to the first fall) so it’d be a boring experience for them if you park where the fall actually starts.

Park at this parking lot, walk and make your way up to the falls tracks from the playground then walk back to the car.

They’ve recently seemed to extend it but it’s still busy and most parking lots are taken.

Some people come in through DO NOT ENTER sign and come through wrong entrance which is annoying so watch out for cars just in case you bump into them on your exit

It is a very beautiful place to visit with the family. There are no paved trails, but prams and pushers can easily traverse the paths. There are plenty of parking spaces available. Plus you can even BBQ there. I went on the easiest trail to the first falls. There is plenty of natural shade and the wildlife there will amaze the kids. And the temperature is always a few degrees cooler than the estimated temperature. It's a must place to visit, have lunch, and bring the family.

The winter in South Australia is from June to August. On average, August has the most rain, and about half of the time it will be rainy.

Start at the top parking lot, or you can start at the lower parking lot on Stradbroke Road and follow the Creek Walk on Four Creek to the top parking lot.

Along the Morialta Falls Valley Walk you can reach the first waterfall with the most amazing view, and the other two waterfalls are also nearby.
In addition, you can also overlook the entire landscape of the three major waterfalls from the Eagle Nest Lookout.

Lots of free parking available, might have to park further away during crowded seasons but it’s still a nice hike up to the area. Sometimes there’s also a coffee van at the entrance of carpark but it isn’t always there.

Such a stunning location but such a tiny carpark. During the week you might be lucky to find a spot but on the weekend you will have to park further down the road and walk up which isn't to much of a problem really. Be great if they made it bigger but then again it has a great National Park vibe about it. In October, there's a good amount of water, so the waterfall is beautiful. Picnic park for families. Many trails for all fitness levels.

On weekends and public holidays one could struggle to get a parking spot. But if you keep driving around you could get lucky as people are coming and going at all times.

Это место не забываемое! Особенно советую посетить его в плохую погоду! Вы столкнитесь с дикой природой Австралии. Коалы на деревьях, кенгуру, кролики и многое другое! Будте аккуратнее это дикая природа. От стоянки до водопада широкая пешеходная дорожка, можно проехать с коляской! Водопад во время дождя значительно фотогеничен! Желаю всем хорошего отдыха!
