Rent a Car Cairns Airport

Beautiful mangrove board walk that lets you experience different variations of mangroves and associated wildlife. At times the walk becomes quite eerie which is unlike anything you will experience on other mangrove board walks. The effort to build the walk, provide information on the way, and let tourist experience such a unique landscape is a credit to the government of the area.

If you like nature it's the place for you. Great experience and make sure you do walks starting at both ends of the carpark. People please stop whinging about places that someone put a lot of money and effort to build and you can visit absolutely for free. If you don't like it simply leave and next time stay home watching tv.

The Cairns Airport has out in a lot of money and effort in rebuilding this environmental and biodiversity treasure. Great to see it open again

Lovely way to spend an hour if you have some time to wait for your flight

C’était ouvert lors de mon passage.
En fait c’est l’une des plus belle mangrove que j’ai vu en Australie. Elle est très dense, et en s’y arrêtant on peut voir et entendre une multitude d’animaux!
Je dirais que c’est vraiment quelque chose à faire à Cairns ! Limite mieux que de visiter le village de Karunda qui est un peu triste.
Une nature vraiment typique dépaysante.

Attention, je suis ressorti de la mangrove avec 3 ou 4 piqures de moustique ou mouche et une dizaine de plaques rouge sur la peau (d’un diamètre de 2 à 3 mm) qui ont disparu après quelques heures. Je préfère donc prévenir…

It was great walking track located near Cairns airport. I went there with my children who are 7 and 3 years old. They also enjoyed walking because we could find thousands of crabs there. Besides trees growing in the mangrove were awesome. I think we can see different scenery between dry season and rain season. One thing I would like to advice when you visit there is not to forget to bring insect repellents and to wear long pants.

Nice walk if you don't wanna drive out far from the city

This free car park is for the Mangrove Boardwalks. There's no right turn on exit, but watch out for creative driving manoeuvres as people heading for the airport work around that. Also, being in the mangroves, there are lots of mosquitoes around here.

If your waiting for your flight, this place is perfect for you. Great way to spend an hour

从19年3月就开始封闭了，没有重新开放的时间。连停车场也关闭了，不要过来了。

Lather yourselves up in Mozzie spray! Cute Broadwalk amongst the mangroves, no reception half way in. Tiny timeframe, see lots of crabs and info boards.

It's a shame that it is closed.. I would have liked to visit
