The Grand on Stanley

A lovely little bar. We booked it out for my husband's birthday and had the run of the place all night. Everyone had a fantastic time and my husband said it was the best birthday he has had in many many years.

Many thanks to Dylan, Joe and Patrick for helping to make my party a wonderful experience for everyone. The venue is superb - very classy inside and a great outdoor area. I’m grateful for the help I received in planning and the bar service on the evening was so efficient and friendly. Great range of drinks too. I highly recommend this gem of a venue.

I recently hosted my Birthday party at The Grand On Stanley and it was one of the best nights I've had in a long time. The staff facilitated a good night and were very patient with a very loud bunch.
The venue itself was beautiful and had a fantastic atmosphere. The drinks were reasonably priced and delicious, and Dylan (The Manager) was amazingly helpful throughout the entire process.

I also loved the fact that you could take control and organise the entire event from self catering to making your own playlist to decorating the venue. I would 100% hire this venue again.

I hosted a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend and I could not recommend a better venue or team then the Grand on Stanley! The bar manager and staff were awesome and everyone at the party had a fabulous time. Dylan the event manager was extremely helpful and made the booking and organisation super easy.
Friendly staff, amazing location, great value for money and just all around a great venue! Will definitely host another party here in the future.

We had our daughter’s 21st at The Grand. Dylan & his team were so easy to deal with - quick with communication & very flexible given our guest numbers kept changing. The bar staff on the night were excellent and the venue looked great. Would happily recommend the venue to anyone considering booking.

The Grand on Stanley was a perfect venue to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere was great, bar tending staff were friendly and very accommodating when creating drinks to suit party guests! My friends were surprised when they arrived at this hidden gem and everyone had a great night. Thank you again for a hassle free party venue and we will see you again soon for our next party!

We had Joe, Dylan and the team host us for my 40th birthday party, and the night was everything we’d hoped for.

What a great find, ‘The Grand on Stanley’ was for us. Perfect size for our crowd, and such a cool, funky space. You could dress it up as much as you like to theme a party in any style whatsoever.

The staff who looked after us were sensational and couldn’t have done more to make our night as great as it was.

The management team even took our particular tastes in wine into account and added some specific requests to the wine list for the night.

We can’t speak highly enough of this place and will recommend it anyone looking for a fantastic venue for their next event.

Hands down the best venue for a Private Function in Brisbane. I just recently had a Graduation party at The Grand, they were so transparent in their communication and catered to all our needs for the night. In all honesty this was my first time hiring a venue. They made it so smooth and easy, I had the best night with close friends and family while partying along with the friendly bar staff. I urge anyone that is sitting on the fence for a venue to go with The Grand on Stanley, AWESOME PLACE! - James.

Just had my 50th At the Grand on Stanley and the whole experience was amazing. This bar from the road does not give it justice you walk in and you have found a quaint cosy unique Bar. Joe welcomed us and the boys who served us did a cracker job. Loved the bar, the outdoor area, and the dungeon with the photographer. Had so much fun and would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a unique amazing memorable experience. We just did not want the night to be over.

Checked out the space this evening as a potential venue for upcoming Brisbane Fringe show. The bar tender, Matt, was incredibly hospitable and welcoming. Met the owner and had a great chat about the layout and potential options. All in all, a really great experience, and will definitely be going back as a punter very soon!!

We held our daughters 21st, was fantastic to have a venue all to ourselves. We were able to self catered which helped to keep the costs down. We also supplied our own music via Spotify and set up the tv monitor to share great family photos of our daughter. Loved the no hire fee just a minimum spend, which meant we could be extra generous with the bar tab & food. Staff were excellent and everything was organised and ready to go, great night had by all. I would definitely book this venue again.

Beautiful venue and the staff are amazing. Special thanks to Carol and Ash for their bartenders skills and making the night extra special. Dylan was great to deal with I'm organising the venue and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this venue for a private event.

I recently held my 50th 1920’s themed birthday party at The Grand on Stanley. The style of the bar perfectly suited the theme and everyone at the party commented on how great the venue was. It is very affordable and flexible – allowing you to decorate as you choose and arrange your own food options, although they have plenty of suggestions for you as well. The staff were fantastic and made the planning very easy as they were always accommodating with requests, and the night ran very smoothly. I totally recommend The Grand on Stanley and thank them for making my 50th a night to remember.

Had our Christmas party here. Small to medium size, about 50-60 people. The venue was absolutely perfect. Food was delicious, and the drinks that were on offer were outstanding. Owner & staff were polite & very helpful throughout the whole process.

Thanks to Joe and Dylan for helping us organise our work Christmas after-party function at The Grand. It was the perfect space as it was customisable and flexible to our needs in terms of food, beverage and entertainment. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a private function space that is affordable, intimate and trendy.

Low key, cosy bar! Very friendly and helpful staff. Also serving one of the best Espresso Martini's in Brisbane! Highly recommend dropping by to give the cocktails a try.

Great hidden cocktail, jazz and blues bars. Will be a great hidden GEM on the south side of Brisbane,
Shouod become a great place to wet the babies head when the whisky bar is completed, as the children's hospital is just across the way
