Amazing service department.
Had ongoing issues with my car, was going through another dealership on the northside and was getting no where. Took it to Austral VW for a second opinion. James who check my car in was great and got the Manager Barry to come for a drive in my car.
Literally 2 mins of driving the car, Barry had located the 2 issues with the car that the other dealership pretty much said I was making up.
All works completed that day and car is 100%.
Can't recommend enough.

I had my first service today and I just wanted to say that I had an outstanding experience today. I was thoroughly impressed and can’t remember the last time I had such an efficient and friendly experience. I really enjoyed the complimentary Uber back to the office. I will certainly recommend to friends and family.

An experience you don’t always expect to have when taking your car to be serviced. From offering to drop me somewhere, carrying my bags, and the honey from their hives, all around great service.

I had a problem with a leak coming from the passenger side of my car into the floor (inside the car) - it was to do with condensate from the air cond. I rang the team at Austral and they were very helpful. I was able to drop the car in on the day and they attended to it straight away. The problem was fixed in less than 30 mins. Great service and customer care!

I recently had a major service on my VW Tiguan and the experience was very professional, clean and efficient. We received the car back very clean and there weren’t any dirty finger marks or oily smudges to be seen. We did shop around for quotes from other VW service centres and Austral Newstead came in the cheapest and were also very competitive with the European car specialist mechanics. After being so competitive on price, knowing all parts were genuine Volkswagen and the value of the VW stamp, they were the easy choice of service.
Unfortunately some days after receiving the vehicle back, we were presented with an EPC error light when applying power in higher gears (merging on highway). I suspected something had come loose around the throttle body/turbo or the computer had bad software from the service.
I took the car back in and the technicians found the intake pipe was detached causing a boost leak. This area was washed during the major service where they found a small leak from the turbo. The service manager took care of the service charge to refit the pipe, but assured me it wasn’t something that would’ve come loose during the service. I felt like the defect was coincidentally too close to the major service for the pipe to just come loose days after the service, and the staff definitely knew I felt that way. They were very nice about that and retained a future customer. Thanks guys!

What an absolute amazing experience from a the A1 TEAM at Austral VW at Newstead. On the way to work this morning I had a minor issue with my 2016 Golf - I was in the area at Newstead so I popped in to Austral VW, hoping they could check it out.
After being greeted by AMIR at the service counter, he offered to reach out and help me even though they were extremely busy.
The young serviceman (wish I got his name too) not only fixed the minor problem but also checked other minor issues.
Being a business owner myself, I know how under pressure it is during Christmas week but these guys went above and beyond.
So pleasing- thank you Amir your exceptional service this morning made a massive impact on the busy start to my day- you deserve all the credit!

What a brilliant service I’ve just received from the Services Team at Austral VW. Nothing is a problem for them. It’s Christmas Eve and my brake pad lights came on. I called up, with a smile in her voice was told to come on in. Got to the service centre and everyone was smiling, I apologised for turning up Christmas Eve, and there was nothing but a smile, no problem, and helpfulness. Just been asked if I’ve time to get the car cleaned! On Christmas Eve. What a team. I will only buy VW so I can have my car serviced by this helpful team. Couldn’t rate my experience more highly. I had some apprehension going in based on the reviews, but was very pleased to receive absolutely above-and-beyond service from Amir here. I felt taken care of as a Volkswagen driver, rather than as a customer. I will be going here and asking for Amir any time I need servicing.

Austral VW at Newstead were a breath of fresh air. After taking my car to the Muppets over at Norris Motor Group - Kedron, and leaving with a broken rear view camera, no water pump fitted and them claiming they couldn't fix my GENUINE VW canopy. I cannot commend Austral VW enough. I pulled up about 10mins to 7am, few cars in front of me. The service department was promptly outside before 7am and efficiently saw to their customers. I was given the pleasure of Oscar who rest assured to me that he would get my issues fixed and boy he was not wrong. By 9.30am Oscar had called me to say the boys had fixed my canopy, and gave me the quote for the water pump. I was shocked when Oscar told me that they could get same day delivery for the water pump and that my car would be ready by 3-3.30pm. Everything that Oscar said he would do - he made happen. My car was sure enough ready by 3pm. I think Norris Motor Group oughta take a leaf out of Austral VW' book and I think Austral - don't let go of Oscar he served your Business well and then some today. Thank you Oscar for restoring my faith in VW and thank you for all of your efforts today. I will definitely be going back. I've found my new VW dealership. 10 out of 10. Thanks Legends!!!

The staff at VW Service Centre are always more than happy to help and go the extra mile to give you peace of mind. I recently bought new aftermarket VW tyres for my Amarok and was told the tyre monitoring valve was missing from my rims. Whilst this isn’t a usual service they provide, they offered to take the valve out of my old rims and place them in my new wheels.

Thanks team, I won’t be going anywhere else!
