Amazing. I went to the salon for a hair restyle and donation and all the staff were so lovely and welcoming and the salon is beautiful. Jorgia cut my hair and made sure to ask lots of questions to make sure she understood what I wanted and gave great recommendations. I love my and and am so grateful for their care and experience.

I had the BEST salon experience I have ever had.

I am always nervous going into a new salon but the team here made me feel so welcome, Alanna sat down with me and chatted about my needs. When my original ideas were out of my price range she worked with me to get something similar in my budget.

The little details (extra head and neck massage? Hell yes!) and professionalism of all the hairdressers was impeccable.

I have already booked my next appointment and I cannot wait.

I have been an avid chain hairdresser girl for a longtime due to convieniece, however after another bad cut from these chains I decided to try something new. I am I glad I did! From the first call, to walking through the doors the staff here at Black flamingo were a delight, so welcoming and attentive. There was a complimentary neck and shoulder massage and the hair wash provided an amazing mini relaxation with massage chair, and great smells.

Kayla did an amazing job on my hair cut, she was friendly to talk to, and really knowledgeable on the best products. Great experience all around will be back-

Last week I wandered into The Black Flamingo, feeling really down with the state of my poor, brassy dry hair and desperate for help. I was absolutely blown away with the talents of the kind and beautiful Alanna, who has completely transformed my hair into a beautiful shade of blonde and given me the best haircut I think I’ve ever had in 18 years of cutting and colouring, the confidence boost I really needed. The vibe of the salon is amazing and all the girls made me feel so welcome. I’m so excited to now call The Black Flamingo my new home for hair and can’t wait for my next appointment.

Had my first hair cut in forever here today. I was lucky enough to have the very beautiful and talented Kayla look after me. Kayla was really friendly and listened to what I wanted. Made suggestions that were appropriate for my desired outcome and my hair looks fabulous. This salon has a really friendly vibe and they really pamper you with drinks, massages and the most relaxing wash room you have ever seen! Think day spa vibes. The attention to detail and the passionate staff are what sets this place apart and the reason I’ll be back. Can’t wait to see Kayla again. Thanks Guys!

I had my full colour done by a beautiful girl Lexie. She was so professional. She asked all the right questions and the colour was exactly what I wanted. She was so friendly and easy to talk to the time just flew by. The whole experience was wonderful. I felt awesome when I walked out of the salon. Thank you so much Lexie!

Got my hair transformed by the absolutely gorgeous & lovely Jorgia today. Went in with photos & she absolutely nailed it, walked out looking like the photos I had shown her.
She is so great with her hair cutting skills, communication and got such a friendly vibe.

I had a full set of foils done on my hair. The service was amazing. Head and shoulder massage, offers of tea/coffee to keep you occupied whilst getting your hair done. My stylist Scarlett, was attentive and listened to what I needed. The vibe of the salon was inclusive and super pretty, from the inside out. My hair turned out really awesome too.

I walked in Black Flamingo salon yesterday morning and was greeted with smiles and was guided to my chair. My stylist was Alanna, as soon as she started asking me questions about my hair style history I knew straight away that this was exactly the hair salon Ive been trying for years to find.
From the complimentary Head,neck and shoulders massage to the basin for a wash. All done with gentleness and really hot water (which I love) was so therapeutic.
With a hot latte and biccies waiting for me at my chair I was ready for what was to come.
With 10 years behind her as a hair stylist Alanna wanted more experience with cutting curly hair and I was happy to help.
I expressed my concerns with my hair and how I'm growing out a previously half shaved head so my hair was uneven,had split ends and very dry hair due to the abundance of grey hairs coming through.
Bec aka Alanna's Boss or as I prefer to call her The curl specialist was by Alannas side every step of the way guiding Alanna on how and where to cut, the angle, the different sections, the perimeter & which part of the hair to use as a guide to get the best shape for the cut. Bec advised that with my type of curl it should be styled by bundles and a hair styling creme would suit to give volume & shape while adding moisture. Alanna used the styling creme and bundled each section making my hair into beautiful ringlets.
To say that I walked out a different person would be an understatement.
I fell in love with myself again! My hair felt amazing, it felt light and bouncy, it looked healthy and fresh. Alanna and Bec created something that I never knew I would ever achieve with my curly hair.
I felt super spoilt from the moment I walked into Black Flamingo to now 12 hrs later.
Thank you Alanna and Bec for exceeding my expectations and creating this new look.
I look forward to my next appt already booked with Alanna in a couple of months.

Black flamingo is a beautiful hair salon with lovely professional staff.
Before I contacted black flamingo I was a client at an other hair salon however they damaged my hair and it ended up affecting my confidence a lot.
My mother in law suggested black flamingo and from the get go they were nothing short of amazing.
They listened to me about my past experiences with my hair, were compassionate and supportive about my feelings. From there they explained everything step by step taking care and answering all my questions or concerns. The ladies there are one in a million. Would highly recommend them to everyone. I look forward to getting my hair done now and every time I do it perfectly.

For the first time in my life I am a regular client at a salon and I leave loving my hair every time. I look forward to my appointments with Bek and every visit is a lovely experience from start to finish. The team present a perfect balance of friendly and professional, and the space is well maintained and inviting.

I absolutely love black flamingo and can't stress enough how good the service they provide is, and especially how great they are with people who suffer from bad social anxiety they've always been so welcoming. I always go to Alanna and will continue to do so, she is just a champion honestly. She is always so onto it with my hair especially with helping me make decisions and ALWAYS makes sure the health of my hair comes first. And they have coffee and dogs, as if you wouldn't want that.

I would not trust my red hair with absolutely anyone else! I literally get daily compliments from strangers in the street on my colour AND overall health. The team at Black Flamingo Studio are so welcoming and give such a premium experience down to the little details (the head massages are elite).

I’ve been to Black Flamingo twice now and both times I’ve left with sky-high confidence, feeling like the most beautiful girl in the world. When Jorgia is cutting my hair I feel like I’m chatting with a friend, I don’t feel like a customer. Everyone that works at Black Flamingo has such passion for hair and it really shows in the service. I tried this salon after my previous one really damaged my confidence, but Jorgia and all the staff have exceeded my expectations!
