NRMA Bowen Beachfront Holiday Park

Had a 3 night powered site stay in this wonderful caravan park. Our spot was right at the end by the park and opposite the sea. Could get to the park through the gate. Best view by far. BBQ area was very clean and was all the amenities. As we were just in front of the second cyclone within weeks, there were only two caravans there, including us. Very quiet and the dogs loved sitting out on the grass just watching the day go by. Fantastic walk to Horseshoe bay to a great little cafe on the beach. The whole park was extremely clean and the pool was awesome. The kitchen area was amazing, even had a slow cooker there for visitors to use. And the views, wow. Most definitely stay again, longer this time.

Great location, right on the beach. Beach front powered sites have uninterrupted ocean views.
Pretty small sites though and you will want to practice your parallel parking skills, especially for the beachfront sites where parking your car is tight.
There are 2 covered picnic tables and 2 electric BBQ's on a grassed area looking out to the water.
Amenities are great. Very clean with glass shower screens and plenty of hooks and places to put your clothes, etc. They even provide bath mats which is a nice touch.
Front office sells ice creams and drinks.
It's a small park which is nice as it means it is not as busy as your standard Big 4 type park.
There is a nice big covered swimming pool too.
Next door is a really nice park and there is a path that takes you all the way to Horseshoe Bay where there is a Cafe and also where a lot of walks start from. It is probably a 20min walk to this point.
Only a few mins drive to town.
Nice sunsets.
Would recommend.

We stayed 3 nights, first time in our caravan. Perfect place to test things out. Dee and Matt were extremely helpful. We had issues with our battery and they went above and beyond to help us. We will definitely be back.

Great park and beautiful spot. We had a beachfront site. Family of magpies, lorikeets, kookaburras all having a chat around us. Pet friendly too. Highly recommended 😊😊😊

The beach front villa that we stayed in was excellent.
It was a very relaxing environment all round.
I even caught 2 trevally,1 grunta and a stingray straight in front of the villa we stayed in.
We will be definitely staying again and highly recommend anyone looking for a great get away,to stay there.10 out of 10 from me.

Our stay here was a very last minute decision however it didn’t disappoint at all. The staff were fantastic and were always looking after the sites/facilities. Great ocean walks/views. One of the workers even gave out icypoles to the kids during movie night! Little things like this that made it a memorable stay here. Will be back here again.

This place is a little paradise on earth, in front of the beach. You can start the walking track from the camping, it's very well located. The amenties and the swiming pool are very clean, there is a super well furnished kitchen, which is perfect when you have a tente. The owners are super nice, there is a super Lovely atmosphere in this place. The best in Bowen!!

Perfect weekend getaway location! Our 2bedroom cabin was lovely and spacious. The pool was amazing and the staff were super friendly 👌

Excellent Park right on the beachfront. Clean amenities and nice resort style pool. Sites are a little crammed but most parks are these days. Caravan site was ok but We booked on the fly so were very lucky to get a couple of nights as the grey nomads take up all the space at this time of year. Pathway for walking or bike ride to horseshoe bay which was really enjoyable. Views were spectacular and sunsets and sunrises everyday were superb. I loved this park. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Lovely little place right on the water. Small and basic but well loved and maintained. Good little pool, fantastic views. We would have loved to stay longer!

Beautiful spot! Packed in quite tight, but well set-out. Palms trees between sites, and lovely picnic tables & BBQ areas right at waterfront for all to share. Noisy start to the morning as everyone packed to leave, with diesel engines idling patiently...ah, the serenity!😜

We were to stay 4 nights, ended up there for 12!
This is my absolute favourite place.
Friendly staff, no issue in extending our stay.
Ocean front.
Only down side is it can be tight to try and park when full.

Very tidy park. I would highly recommend this place to stay. The sites are very close together and definitely hard for caravan drivers to get their van in place, but everyone seems friendly, laid-back and considerate. As for perfect views of the ocean, this place is the best in Bowen.

Had the most relaxing stay at this place, booked for 3 nights however stayed for 5 as it was so amazing! Extremely friendly staff on site that couldn’t do enough for you. Very clean facilities and swimming pool. Big sites with plenty of room right on the beach! Bowen is a great town with a slower pace of life, perfect for a holiday.

Camped for ten nights on a half grass, half concrete slab powered site. Great site, amenities and friendly helpful amazing staff. Could not fault anything and i am pretty picky:) Best camping experience in ages. Will definitely be back here. There are so many amazing spots within a 5 min drive from here. Bowen is excellent. Love it. Thanks again to the lovely staff here.

We stayed last night for one night powered caravan site. Last minute call in, got in and early check in. Very welcoming and leaving. Nice and clean all around. What they have on the website is what u get but better in reality. Guests were nice. Very friendly family park. We wished we stayed longer. We will be back!
