The view is stunning, I got the bean salad and it is the only salad I've actually ever enjoyed. Probably just going to order it for lunch for the rest of my trip at magnetic island 😌😊

Fantastic burgers with a real creative selection and suburb specials every week. Great location right by the ocean at pretty cool backpackers with always something going on.

So island burger is apart of the hostel but I would still recommend coming as the island burger (includes flame grilled pineapple) is to die for. Honestly it’s one of the best burgers I have had in some time. So much do I had it twice in 2 nights. So I would 100% coming here at around 6ish as the backpackers start to get crazy from 7ish when happy hour starts

Went there for dinner last night and burgers were INCREDIBLE. easily the best food we’ve had in the island during our stay!

You can easily get to the restaurant/hostel via bus as there is a stop right outside. There’s a cute seating area facing the beach so you can eat and have drinks as the sun sets.

Absolutely incredible! We had the fried chicken burger and the classic burger and they were both amazing. Fries spot on.

If I lived in Townsville I’d come out here for dinner!

Honestly very pleasantly surprised by the food here! Good portions, reasonably priced, and super tasty! Got a burger, Greek salad, and loaded fries.

My favourite spot to eat on the island right now. The staff are friendly and the burgers are both reasonably priced (with drink deals) and delicious! Plus, because it's located at Base, you get uninterrupted ocean views too.

Stumbled on this island gem looking through photos on instragram tagged with 'magnetic island' and so glad we did! They're located attached to the bar at the rear of Base backpackers hostel. There's a bus stop right outside so it's easy to get to.

We tried 2 of the vegetarian options and both were delicious! Couple this sitting right on the ocean at sunset and you've got an absolute winner! Would definitely recommend and would revisit.

We took 2 teenagers and 2 little kids here, we were a bit worried about it being not kid friendly but it was awesome. The burgers were absolutely deliciouse and very well priced I would definately go again. The staff and the spectacular view is so worth it! If youre stopping into maggie forna short holiday I ddfinately reconnmend going here for nice lunch with a drink and view of the ocean!
