City Tabernacle Baptist Church

Beautiful church with organ music, choir and a great group of members who served in the service. I attended the evening service and felt the warmth of the people. The worship service, Bible reading, choice of songs, offer of prayers and pulpit sharing ministered to my heart and soul. God is so full of goodness towards us.

Handel’s Messiah 2023, was exceptional and moving. Thank you to everyone that made it such a great evening

A very unique building for a Baptist Church. I had the good fortune to be given a guided tour and a free sausage sandwich. Went as part of Brisbane open door 2019.

Beautiful church the architecture and acoustics! The choir and pianist and Brisbane Regional Youth Orchestra were spectacular.

Great acoustics!!, beautiful big windows that really brighten the whole area, it is also air-conditioned for excellent comfort all year round. Lovely high ceilings make it feel very bright, fresh and spacious. It also has a swimming pool inside which is small, but would be lovely to wade in during summer.

Over the last couple of years this church has been and still is wonderfully led by a lovely couple who we are humbled to have a part of our church fellowship. Richard and Pat have gone above and beyond in their care and nurture of so many, and we have been blessed.

My home church so of course I'm biased 😉 Solid biblical teachings, friendly people - but not all up in your face - and uplifting traditional hymns (with a few modern-ish) songs and choruses thrown in 💕 Kids programs Sunday morning (all ages), Nursery available during the service and Free off-street parking available behind the church in the United Services Club on Sunday's for church goers (please don't park undercover tho - that's not for church members). Looking fwd to meeting you one Sunday soon ☺

Great Christmas cantata! We do enjoyed it! Very friendly and the worship was inspiring.

Very friendly people, very close to Central Station and had very good Christmas events and Facebook streaming.

I have always wanted to visit this amazing church on Wickham Tce . A Baroque concert in air conditioned comfort on a Sunday afternoon was just the perfect opportunity...fascinating

Kind and helpful staff. No parking at the church but plenty of paid street spots.
