Deliberately Delicious

Amanda at Deliberately Delicious created us a wedding cake more stunning than we could have ever imagined. One guest even commented that they thought it was an art installation, before realising it was the cake! The flavours we chose were also delicious - vanilla/raspberry, and red velvet. The only downside was there was more than half of the cake leftover for us to take home… but maybe that’s an upside as we’ve frozen it to eat at our leisure (and on our anniversary). We would definitely recommend having your cake made with Deliberately Delicious!

Amanda has been the absolute highlight of my wedding planning experience. She has been so supportive, understanding and generous with her time during the recent lockdown and I cannot commend her enough for helping bring my special day together.
100% recommend her with all my heart and will definitely be visiting for future celebrations! The cake was the center piece and got a ridiculous amount of compliments from everybody attending.

We had Amanda and her team bake both our engagement and wedding cakes and to say that they were exceptional would be an understatement... They were perfect!

The styling of cakes were spot on and gorgeous, the care that Amanda takes in the construction of the cake and their decorations were fantastic...The flavours were amazing and true to their description.

My wife and I were discussing that we'd have to make up events to celebrate just so we can eat cake haha.

Definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a wedding, engagement or celebration cake.

Recently ordered a two tier wedding cake in June. Very happy with the results and would recommend to others! Amanda is talented and knowledgeable; the phone consultant and booking was easy to do. Our cake was delivered to the venue on time and couldn’t have been happier!

Her communication was professional and concise, the cake looked exactly how we wanted it to, and the flavour, texture etc was simply mind bogglingly good. Amanda did an amazing job with our (slightly unique) request for a wedding cake. We did a lot of research prior and wanted to find someone who would make a cake to match some baskets filled with cookies. The result, not only did it look fantastic but the cake it self was, as the name suggests, delicious. I would highly recommend them for any cake requests and will use them again for future functions.

Amanda made our wedding cake! So incredible. We wended up just giving her free artistic liscence after showing her some styles we liked and we were not disappointed. We had the lemon lime and coconut as well as the salted caramel! Both were INCREDIBLE! The cake was affordable, beAutiful and tasted great. We gave had multiple cakes designed with and made by Amanda. She is amazing and so are the cakes. It was hard to find a cake decorator willing to tackle the big lavish style cakes we wanted with the intricate detailing but we certainly struck gold with DD. Highly recommend for your next event.

Wonderful! Ordered fairly late for a wedding cake for a friend, was pleasantly surprised that she accepted the order. I knew exactly what I was getting, via a cake testing, and it was promising. Although there was some problem on the wedding day in regards to collecting the cake, she delivered it to the venue with no extra charge! The cake was amazing and the guests loved it. I highly recommend getting your cakes from this wonderful lady.

I orderd a 30th birthday cake from Amanda and it far exceeded my expectations. I decided to proceed at late notice and Amanda was wonderful! The cake looked AMAZING and tasted equally as good. We went with a vanilla mudcake and it was so moist and absolutely delicious. It was the feature of the party and all the guests commented on how beautiful the cake was. From start to finish was smooth sailing and Amanda ensured the cake was ready for pick up early on the day of the party. I highly recommend Deliberately Delicious for any occassion!!

I would like to thank Amanda and her team for the truly incredible cake that she did for our mum's 80th birthday on the weekend. The cake was one of the highlights of the party and definitely beyond our expectations. Absolutely Wonderful! Amanda created a delicious Lime and Coconut Cake in the shape of a Pineapple for my 50th birthday and it was just perfect. Everyone commented on the fabulous look of the cake itself and it was utterly delicious.
