Beautiful restaurant, amazing food and customer service!! The portions are massive and offers a range of Vietnamese cuisines, definitely worth the money. The crispy egg noodle chicken soup was delicious, super filling and flavourful. The soup was strong and rich in flavour, not salty or bland. One of the best food I’ve tried while staying in QLD, would come back again.

We spoke to the owners who were very friendly, easygoing and got along with my dad well. The ambiance is very casual and comfortable, worth your money to try it out.

Another wonderful meal at District 1. I've never had a bad meal here. It's aforedable and tasty...the pineapple fried rice is a must have. Thanks for choosing Brisbane to set up shop!

The noodle soup is fantastic. Not MSG artificial flavour, it’s real soup which takes hours to cook. Thank you for such a lovely meal, a highlight of our time in Brisbane. Highly recommend the duck salad, creative and yum.

Seriously good food! Since moving to Brisbane from Sydney we have been looking for top quality Vietnamese food and have finally found it at District 1. This is the kind of place that you just know you are going to keep coming back until you try everything on the menu.

This restaurant may not look like much, but the food does not disappoint at all! The service is so friendly and they do it with a smile. Food was ready really quickly and I could tell all the ingredients were fresh. The prices are hard to beat, so much value for money.

Loved our Beef Pho and Spring Rolls. Spring Rolls were some of the best I'd had in a long time!!! Beef Pho was also amazing! Service was super fast and meals were well presented. Affordable meals options with Pho $17 and Spring rolls $9.
Decor isn't that fancy so if you want more ambiance, maybe go somewhere else but if you are after great food on a budget I highly recommend you give this place a go. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Especially the pineapple friend rice, spicy beef noodle soup and crispy chicken noodle are the BEST. Just trust me! I love here a lot!!!!

They always make delicious food here. The bahn mi baguette is crunchy and light. With the pate, roast pork belly, and condiments simply scrumptious. These guys deserve to win awards for their beef pho!

Best Bahn mi I've had in Brisbane. Do it. Come.

Carrying on with our Vietnamese food safari here in Queensland, we went here for lunch because District 1 gets consistently high ratings.

We had the beef phó, the duck lychee orange salad and the beef lemongrass banh mi. All were excellent.

The phó was so good we forgot to take photos of it! It was rich, aromatic, with lots of layers of flavour, as you would expect from a good phó. The beef was beautifully cooked and tender. It had the right balance of broth to noodles. You won't go wrong with this phó.

The duck salad was really interesting too. Very good texture combinations from the vegetables, and the Peking duck was perfectly rendered.

The beef lemongrass banh mi was also excellent. Fresh, zesty, and with good balance of ingredients, and no skimping.

We spoke to the owner and his wife, who were very hospitable. We will certainly be back for more phó and several other menu items we want to try. Some of the curries look very interesting.

This place deserves its frequent mention in the top Vietnamese restaurants in Brisbane. Very easy to recommend.

It's January 2023, and we've been back several times now, and they are always consistent. Today we have the pork chop worth broken rice, and the Bo Ko. Both were superb. The depth in the Bo Ko was especially good.

As good as anything we had in Saigon two months ago.

Get the pho soup! The best! Staff so lovely. There is a salad on the menu under "Green Stuff" - duck, orange, papaya, carrot, bean shoot. Very refreshing, had this on a hot evening in Brisbane.

Best Banhmi I’ve ever had!

OMG. Amazing everytime we have lunch or dinner. Tony & his family always look after us. Highly recommend Banh mi as the the hands down best in fortitude valley! This is a no frills but all value & fresh experience ! Also legit iced vietnamese coffee. A must visit restaurant so handy in fortuneland center ! Can't wait for our daily fix!

Only a small restaurant but I can see why it's popular, was very impressed with how tasty the Beef Pho was and look forward to going back to try a few other options on the menu.
