Anaconda Townsville

I went to Anaconda today to buy hiking gear (as a novice) and was fortunate enough to be assisted by a lovely young lady Amy.
Her customer service was exceptional.
Her sound knowledge and advice was so helpful.

Hi there, we just been to Anaconda.
Guy " Jarod" helped us with roof tents.
Without Jarod we would not have bought a tent today. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Even went to the warehouse to check if the tent is available. No question was too much.
Great experience and highly recommend to see Jarod if you need advice.

We called ahead with some questions regarding product/ price and availability
When we arrived we were greeted with “hello”
( becoming rarer these days)
One of The items we were after was put aside for us at the counter.
Taylor was very helpful and polite, congratulations young man.
Our brief encounters with 2 other colleagues were just as remarkable.
It’s a big store with pretty much everything the out doors person could want.

Andrew in the boating and fishing department is an absolute godsend and whole heartedly the reason we keep coming back. A wealth of knowledge and experience. Anaconda Townsville is lucky to have him

Jarod was AMAZING he went above and beyond to help us buy a roof top tent. We went to Kings before and got no help. So we were pleasantly surprised when he helped us measure our car, found us a place to install it close to the store, helped us unpack the tent and then on his break made sure we had all the right pieces. Thank you so much Jarod for all the help, we are so pleased with our roof top tent and blown away by your customer service.

Good store layout, plenty of stock and the fishing area staff were teaching some neophytes how to tie knots correctly. Very helpful.

Craig showed us different sounders and explained the different options. When we got home we could not work out a few functions. Craig took the trouble to contact someone and call us back with clear instructions. We were very happy with his excellent service. Thank you Craig.

Jarod from Anaconda Townsville was the best customer service I have experienced in years. Knew his products, was friendly and so helpful, went above and beyond, explaining product features, differences, tips for use and install - helped me find exactly what I wanted and for the best price. Bought sleeping bag and car gazebo. Carried the gazebo out to the car and helped me fit it in the car. Will go back and see Jarod if I need anything at all that Anaconda stocks. Thank you Jarod, you were amazing! Anaconda - this staffer needs a raise or managerial position- this is what attracts customers.

Great club discounts offered, huge variety of stock, friendly service, though would be helpful if all stock had prices marked on items, instead of having to take items to find a scanner around the store to find out prices.

Definitely 100% best service i have ever recieved! There was a tall male manager who had handled me with the most finest precision. Another more mature aged front service lady who was very kind and payed me lots of attention, even the ground staff the was a guy with a beard who done nothing but act verry profesional. I will definitly be shopping from an Anaconda no matter where I am.

Ordered a jacket from them online, order was processed fast and delivery to Cairns was far better than expected.
Nice tidy store, love to shop there when in town.

Spent a bit of time there today, Taylor was great, patient and very knowledgeable. We purchased a hiking pack, poles, sleeping bag, sleeping mat and a pair of boots. Very happy with the service.
