Very lucky to have a place like this. I’m an Uber driver, it’s too easy to eat junk food on the road. I had a passenger on her way to work at Whites and she said give them a go. Great recommendation. Healthy sandwiches with a good range of fillings. Excellent pre made Salad boxes, love your Caesar salad. Keep up the good work.

Absolute perfection in a deli. Their range of cheese, salads and gourmet fresh foods is outstanding. We enjoyed pies their during our second visit to this shop and even my husband who rarely comments on food RAVED about his pie💕. The staff are wonderful and very friendly - patiently waiting for me to make my selection. If this shop was not 3 days drive from my home I would have an awkward relationship with it! Beautiful 🥰🥰🥰

Arrived there 5 minutes after closing time, I knew it was late but I drove 10 hours to Townsville, I was very tired and I just wanted to buy some cold meat and relax at the apartment I booked.

They were gracious enough to let me in with a smile on their lips, and that's worth a five stars for the service.

The selection and quality of items are superb, the best of everything. The prepared food is absolutely delicious. Just bought a wonderful marinated rump! Absolutely quality. Been overseas for 25 years and so glad to still see a local butcher with such great meat! Tender and great flavour.

They have all sorts of stuff for sale, including great looking steaks.

Excellent service, amazing pies and great selection. I see a lot complained about prices compared to the big chains... They obviously do not realise that smaller shops like this do not have the bulk buy power that provides the chains with it's ability to sell cheap. The bonus of this is only the very best makes it onto their shelves. Only the freshest fruit and veg, and in store butcher and delicatessen!

I love this shop....lots of fresh food, good coffee, friendly staff that create a relaxing, family atmosphere to shop. The best sandwiches in town and lots of local/ nth qld products. The butchery at the back have a great selection and always helpful with cooking tips, a tasty variety of sausages and always happy to prepare your meat as needed.

Whites Grocer is a fantastic shop that has a wonderful variety of food. Every I have tried so far has been really delicious. The staff are very friendly. During my visit to Townsville I was able to order meals and I found th servings we very generous and of really good value. Angela thank you for the delicious dinners. I will be recommending this store and will most definite will be back

Love the range of goods and delicacies that I haven't found anywhere else in Townsville. The food is always fresh and you can make some fresh salad rolls and enjoy down the Stand for a Sunday lunch. The food is a little overpriced for a corner store. The location is convenient and easy to park and run in.

Whites are seemingly always open for when ever we need them. Not expensive prices but high quality produce. Way better than 711, night owl or any other of those stores. The pies are also exceptional, I’d have to say they are my most favourite.
Definitely worth dropping in to even say Gday to the friendly staff.

Discovered this deli a few days ago and love it, they have great range of fresh veggies, meat and prepared meals. Good quality groceries as well. Friendly staff too.

If you dare for a shopping experience beside the large chains, then wait no second. This shop is full of fresh and extraordinary goods, like local products. Integrated is a butcher, who had a small good choice of meat and sausages. Everything for cooking and next barbie.

In life you only get what you pay for. Other reviewers have noted that they feel the prices are too expensive compared to a supermarket. There is absolutely no comparison between the meat and vegetables sold at this store and a supermarket. Neville White is probably the best butcher in Townsville selling the best meat in Townsville. There is always someone on hand to serve you and greet you with a smile. Great deli range for the experienced cook. Extremely hard working owners.

Always the best lunches, from their salads, or pies and sausage rolls, it is actually bad to add any sauce to them, as it isn't required! Also the butches tucked in the store makes the best ham and meat is so fresh. Try the beef jerky too ... yum!

Can honestly say this is one of the best local businesses in the region. CJ and the team are a warm, welcoming and professional team who consistently deliver high quality products. Love this place and recommend it to others frequently.
