I’ve been going to see Peter & the Team for years to get keys cut for work & today I needed to go in and get what felt like a million keys cut, Peter without hesitation got to cutting the keys. I had my 13 year old son with me and he was curious how they cut the keys, he went to watch Peter cut the keys and he listened to how they do it, next thing Peter was allowing my son to cut the rest of the keys we needed.

This hardware shop has great friendly service, definitely no self serve checkouts here! Handy location. Think outside the box and support small business!

I stopped into the Shop today and needed some help with a Tarp for a School Sports Carnival.The Gentleman genously helped and then donated it .This was such a great gesture.Thankyou Leathers Hardware.

I'd rather come here than go anywhere else

I go there to get my pool tested and buy my chemicals and salt for it. Prices are excellent value. The owner and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with everything pool. No question is a problem. They also are a locally owned business who have a loyal following and if you visit, you will understand why!!!

Awesome Local Hardware Shop, Pete and all the other staff give A1 service and first class advice. They seem to only sell quality products and are my go to when i have a project at home.

An excellent family owned business. A good range of hardware available and an interesting display of old world things including some old phones. Off street parking available and friendly staff.

I can't believe I never went to this store and went to Bunnings instead! As others said, the staff (or owner?) is very friendly and helpful. I came in today to get a CA glue to fix my broken wooden hair stick (tried UHU super glue and failed miserably). The staff showed two pieces of wood glued together by Soudal-2c Adhesive and asked me to try prying the wood off. Husband and I couldn't pry the wood, so we bought the Soudal. Went home and fix the broken wooden hair stick with the Soudal and now it's functioning again! The point is, I would never have thought of buying this product (was thinking of Selleys or the like) had the staff not recommended it, and their recommendation is recommended ^_^!

Well, from now on, I will just come here for my hardware needs and if they can't help me, then I'll go to Bunnings. I agree with supporting local economies, and this is a prime example for that.

(oh, the staff actually offered to fix my broken hair stick for free, i just had to bring it there, but I can't accept the offer... He needs the business, and I also need a reliable adhesive for emergency purposes. Thanks anyway for the lovely offer!)

Decided it is time to paint at home so i went here instead of Bunnings and what i found was wonderful and very helpful service from the team.

Best hardware in Townsville. He may be smaller than Bunnings. But he is local and independent. You will actually get service here unlike other major hardware places. You know, the place they wear red shirts...

I wanted to renovate the old garden bench so I went to Leather's and bought wood stain, paint brushes and sanding discs. Two days later the old tired wooden bench looks brand new. Parked right outside the door and got great service.
