I was very happy with my shampoo and blow wave that I had done for our grandsons wedding. I came down from Cairns & picked this salon after reading comments from other people. The staff & service was excellent.

I needed to get rid of my long hair during a 3 week trip to Australia. I walked into Rixon within a couple of hours of arriving in Brisbane, and left with a beautifully cut bob courtesy of Ben. I very much enjoyed the glass of wine too! Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic experience at this hair salon with Ben as my hairstylist. From the moment I walked in, I felt heard and valued amazing customer service. Ben's expertise and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire haircutting process. He truly transformed my hair, leaving it looking more amazing than ever before. I'm thrilled with the results and will definitely be returning for future appointments. Ben's skill and ability to understand exactly what I wanted make him a standout hairdresser. Highly recommend!

Got a great haircut here from Lili. She also took the time to explain to me some techniques on how to style my curly hair and was very happy with the salon hair products she recommended for me. I also feel awkward going into some places sometimes but everyone on the team here made me feel comfortable and at ease very quickly after I walked in. Great service.

Wow!! I got a short, wavy hair cut with apprentice Lili and these guys absolutely are hands down the best I've seen. They talked me through every bit of the cut and style, and clearly understood exactly what my hair needed.

Proof is in the pudding: nearly a week later and hair is still sits back perfectly as cut without any product or styling. Thank you to the beautiful team here, you truly know and love hair!!!

I've been going to Rixon for 4 years now. I knew from my first appointment with Ben that I would not want to go anywhere else. He is so respectful and fun, and I always leave the salon feeling refreshed. The rest of the team is so friendly too!

I was in town for work and took a chance on cleaning up my balayage here. Sheridan is quite a young stylist, but let me tell you… she did the most amazing job! She has a great eye and the skills to give you the look you want! I am very happy with the result! Highly recommend!

As a visitor to Brisbane I was lucky to get an appointment at Rixon. My initial contact was with Sharon at reception who was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere is great and all the staff were friendly and not pretentious or condescending (my pet hate at salons). My stylist Jenna and colourist Elise were both fantastic. They listened to what I wanted and made great suggestions and both did an amazing job on my hair. I am so happy with my “new hair” and wish this was my local salon but it is just too far from Melbourne!

I had a fantastic experience at Rixon today as a new client. Imogen was my colourist and Ben as my stylist both were getting lovely. I’m the type of client who comes in with little clue about what I want. They both embraced my lack of a vision and throughly explained their vision to me before starting. At no point did I second guess what they were doing and I completely trusted them to do what they wanted. I left feeling beautiful which I haven’t felt in a while. Thank you Imogen and Ben and I’ll definitely be back to Rixon.

Chloe was so good. The first time that I felt like a hairdresser knew how to handle curls, and first time I've walked away liking my hair. Chloe was really friendly and had great tips for both low maintenance and if I wanted to do a little extra. I've rebooked to see her again soon :)

I never usually leave reviews, but this was my first time at Rixon Hair, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone. My Saturday monring started with a hairdresser at another place cancelling on me.

My friend told me to see if Rixon had any appointments, and luckily, they had a cancellation and were able to fit me in! The girl who did my hair was incredible, with such attention to detail. I requested a fringe, and she did it perfectly! Exactly how I wanted it.

You can tell the overall culture of this place is fantastic, and everyone was really really lovely! I will definitely be back.

From the moment I entered the salon I felt I was in the best hands.
Shannon is a fantastic colourist, she took so much time to discuss what would be best for my hair and this was not an easy job for her as I had many work related restrictions. She still gave me a fantastic natural look and the care was second to none.
Ben was responsible for my cut which I am so so happy with, again so much time and care was taken.

The salon itself is just exactly how a salon should be with a very calm and relaxed feel. I never felt like I was being rushed and the endless offers of tea or coffee to make u feel as welcome as possible is so lovely.
Not to mention all the team there are exceptionally friendly and genuine in their approach.
Will come back as soon as I can!

Worth every single dollar. The Rixon Hair team were incredible! Made me feel welcome the first step into the building, they have very friendly and uplifting staff.

The atmosphere of the studio was open, modern and warm - not intimidating at all. Great location as it’s tucked away from the busy and loud city. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Was offered a beverage and some magazines while waiting.

Staff are great with keeping you up to date on what’s being done while you’re waiting. The shampoo, condition and head massage were a dream.

Ben did an incredible job cutting my hair! Gave me a run down on what he was going to do and how it would look, always checking up to see if I was okay. He was very patient with my thick hair, making sure it was even and there were no stray hairs - he even styled it at the end! My hair now feels so much lighter and healthy.

Overall if you’re looking for a friendly and well priced hair salon with amazing customer service I highly recommend Rixon Hair. I was treated so well, made me feel so relaxed and left the building feeling absolutely amazing. Thank you!
