I recently stayed at the Milton motel And had a very comfortable sleep in the queen bed. I was also Impressed by how clean my room was. Woolworths was right next door so it was convenient for meals. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m passing through Bowen!

This hotel is close to everything. Great spot but I must mention the wonderful staff that helped me when I needed help the most. Thankyou Milton.

Upon arriving at The Milton Motel, i thought they had moved or it was abandoned because of all the overgrown high grass surrounding the place, in hindsight that shoulda been my cue to run but didn't and that was the beginning. Absolute dump, $110 per night for a shower head arm that you have to hold up while having a shower, plus water pouring out of the joins, a green watered, algae filled swimming pool, screens that are literally half the size of the whole window(refer to photos of all this), no screen in the shower recess so open for anyone or anything to come in through the window and running leaking tap. NO SMOKE ALARMS in rooms, not even what you would class as a kitchen coffee, tea and no milk but sugar, cups and fridge and kettle, no toaster, no microwave, no spoons or utensils or anything to cook with. Even check in was shady, coz they don't need any details of you and the website said $85 a night so i dont know where the $110 came in but even $20 per night is too much for this place. The owner is nice but this place is shocking. But unfortunately i was too tired from travelling to think logically and try another place and those photos are SOOOO MISLEADING because it definitely doesn't look that nice now, far from it. Room was clean but the place is disgusting.

Warning! Dirty dirty dirty. If you respect yourself, never stay here. Nothing works, nothing's clean, nothing's safe. I dont know how they still operate as a motel.
