Buying a trombone for my son from the Artie's Music online store was nothing but an absolutely positive experience. The online chat tool and email communications were both excellent. Although shipment suffered a little bit of delay but it was not really their fault. Overall, a highly recommended store. Thank you.

My visit to Artie's Music in Townsville was up there with the best music shop visits I've ever had.

I thought I had an unsolvable issue with my steel string acoustic guitar, so I went in with the intention of throwing down $600 for a new one. The staff in the shop, especially Gavin and Clayton, fixed my guitar FOR FREE and then they have me the tool I needed to adjust it myself.... also for free!

We bumped into Gavin at the Townsville Folk Festival a few weeks later where he was playing bass with the band Golden Sunbird, and he greeted us as if we were old friends.
I can't recommend the shop highly enough, 10/10!

Great crew that definitely looks after local up-and-coming and working musicians. I've been going to see the team at Arties for 18+ years now and have helped my music journey from my late-teens and through my 30s.

Knowledgeable staff. Friendly and happy to allow playing of a wide range of guitars including Aussie legends Cole Clarke and Mayton. Other instruments for sale as well. A comprehensive range of books for a range of instruments.

Polite, friendly and enthusiastic staff to help you out with your music needs.
Broad range of instruments to choose from especially the guitar area and I believe they had a drumming section.
Best thing to do is go in, check it out for yourself and ask heaps of questions.

I used the online order and pick up option for the first time. The level of communication about my order status was great and the music book actually arrived earlier than expected. The guys were busy when it was time to pick up my order yet engaged with all customers so you felt acknowledged while waiting. Really great work team, well done!

Extremely helpful and friendly. Very busy day in the store but took the time to provide exceptional service. Parking is always a bit of an issue but the store is well stocked and one of the few specialty stores in Townsville that don't say "we'll order that for you".

Very helpful staff, a wide range of musical instruments and music- themed paraphernalia, large well kept store, providing a necessary service in the region.

Sent my Schechter guitar in for a full work over, change heavy strings to light, truss adjustment, intonation, Floyd Rose levelling, fret dressed, fretboard clean, general work etc to get it ready for a show. Only cost $100!! One day turnaround! Great work. Would highly recommend them. Thank you.

Excellent customer service, I was there for around an hour, trying out many guitars
