Central Point Motel

Stayed recently at Central Point Motel for a week prior settling around and I can only recommend this place. The current managers, Jessie and Dylan are the best. Helpful and kind to their guests, I enjoyed much the place and their efforts to maintain this place nice for everyone to enjoy it.

The motel is not in a recent building, but for a fair price you have everything you need in the room with a kitchenette. The room was clean, with AC and the bed very comfy! Plus the location was great, if you want to stay in cbd, it is the perfect spot.

Stayed in Central Point Motel for 5 weeks while looking for somewhere else to rent. The rooms were basic but ideal for the price. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to shops and all other ameneties. Bathroom was clean and shower was powerful. Managers Darren and Rebecca were brilliant. Very helpful and friendly. Pool, BBQ and laundry facilities on site too. Would definitely recommend staying here. Nice quiet area too. Before leaving Mount Isa I was stuck for somewhere to stay. Contacted the motel and even though it was Rodeo week, there was still a room available. Met new managers Dylan and Jessie, also both very friendly and helpful. Thanks for everything guys.

Be honest Jess said. A very happy crew running this place. Yes it is a bit dated but very clean and peaceful. Jess the Boss has looked after us very well.

I couldn’t recommend this place more. From the start, Jessie and Dillon were so accomdating, kind and helpful. In a very stressful situation (previous accomdation cancelled a few hours before check in) jessie and Dillon went above and beyond. The rooms are well presented and exactly what i needed. They also gave me a recommendation for amazing food and a day trip to take! Thank you to you both, i will be back ❤

A trip to remember. We arrived to a very friendly helpful manager that showed us to our well organised room. I was traveling alone but I was still treated to two towels. I was also very impressed with the biscuits. I do enjoy a biscuit with my coffee and these were restocked daily. I mentioned this to the manager and was treated to extra biscuits. After work there is a very nice pool to cool off and have a relaxing beer and watch the romantic sunset lower over the wonderful Mt Isa. Close to the city and everything one could need. If you haven't been ya just not living. Get out to the Isa and have ya self a Frantastic time. Recommend five 🌟

Very impressed with the rooms, immaculate everytime I come to Mt Isa. Have booked this place 2 times now and will be continuing to do so.
Location is perfect, 2 min walk to town.
Management seen always working and maintaining the facilities. Very pleasant people and welcoming.

I highly recommend. The staff are amazing to deal with. They are so amazing, helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice and cosy, relaxing and spacious. Location is so close to town and literal walking distance up the road. I honestly haven't dealt with friendlier staff ❤

Great stay over 3 nights thanks to new management. The rooms are clean and well equipped, centrally located in Mt Isa. Fran the manager is friendly, engaging and made our stay the mini holiday we needed! We were traveling with our two Bassett Hounds and found a room for us all.
Fran has cleaned and painted much of the motel and their us a fresh and inviting vibe to the place.
We highly recommend Central Point Motel for your stay in Mont Isa.

Big thank you to the new management I am very grateful you've made the stay of my little family one to remember. As I've stayed a few years ago and it wasn't a pleasant one. It was comfortable and peaceful, My Daughters enjoyed their swim aswell and they're already asking when we are going back. I will recommend to anyone as you won't be disappointed. My #1 Motel to stay. Thank you once again. :)

Very pleasant stay. Clean comfortable rooms and friendly staff and convenient location right across from the shops and down the road from the greyhound bus stop you can just walk to catch the bus.

Im very impressed with this motel. The manager is very easy to chat with and very helpful. She has done a lot of work to the rooms, painting decorating etc. Im presuming new beds and linen was absolutely brilliant to sleep in. The through wall ac unit worked well and had a clean filter. It is walking distance from shops and club for a noisy beer or a good feed in one of restaurants in the club. If you can find the entrance. I will be back and I consider this motel very good value for money. Ohhh I also saw as i was leaving it also had a laundry which I needed.

Located close to everything. Great motel run professionally by a lady who is very welcoming. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Being an interstate driver I stay in a lot of motels and by far this 1 of the best. Highly recommend. Great management and a pleasant place to stay

We arrived at 12pm on motorbikes in 40 degree heat after a 5 hour ride from NT. The room obvioslly wasn't ready but Fran let us use the pool and opened up her house so we could get out of our bike gear. We had a great stay in a comfortable clean room.

Love love loved staying here. Clean rooms, which to me is important. A pool to cool off in, and Fran, the new manager is a delight to interact with.
Close to all amenities, Coles & Kmart over the road and the hospital is with in walking distance.I will definitely stay there on my next visit. Thanks guys💌❤

Very welcoming and helpful. I have made a couple of bookings and I did not hesitate to make the second. Room was ready with the expected standard at very short notice. Manager Fran was very helpful and made sure I and the other guests were comfortable.

My partner, myself and our son stayed here just for 1 short brief night whilst on our way over to Gold Coast, the new management, is absolutely delightful! She was bubbly, bright, and had such an uplifting spirit and hilarious sense of humour, my family and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend staying here!

This hotel is an excellent spot, great service and local. Close too a lot of good food places, staff where great super friendly and super kind. For the $100 I paid the rooms where very nice considering such a good price would recommend and would stay again
