Beechwoods Cafe Milk Bar

We had breakfast here. I had scramble eggs with smoke salmon and my husband had the avocado with feta cheese and cherry tomatoes on sour dough. Our breakfast were sumptuous. One of the best scramble eggs I have ever had. The smoke salmon was generous and the coffees were excellent. We also bought 2 packets of ready made sandwiches for takeaway. The sandwiches were freshly made and were delicious. This is such a gem of a place. Great food & coffees!

Cute little cafe with lots of options for breakfast. The açai bowl was delicious. Other members of the group had avocado toast, eggs Benedict and was happy with it as well. One washroom only so could have a long line up. No AC. Fan only.
Service level is great. Friendly and attentive staff.

Had lunch today here based on great Google reviews. Not disappointed. Seating on the street, inside or out the back. Interesting menu. Very organised and quick service. Iced water provided just as we sat down. Enjoyed our meals including a shared cake for desert. Good coffee. Recommended!

I had an orange vegan cake with coffee. So delicious. And being a Melbournian, I’m very fussy about my coffee. It was strong as I requested and sweet as a bonus. I’m definitely going back for breakfast or lunch as I like the menu and the affordability.

We had a simple but wonderful and generous breakfast, with yummy smoothies. The atmosphere in the garden is chilled and relaxing. A great way to start a day!

Relaxed cafe with a great variety of food. Was perfect for lunch after a visit to Mossman Gorge. Can recommend.

Awesome spot on the way to/from the Daintree Rainforest for breakfast, coffee and snacks break. Magnificent staff with old country charm. Don’t let the ‘milk bar’ tag fool you..... more of a gourmet cafe!! The owners and staff run a qualitative service oriented business.

Ordered a club sandwich and an ice chocolate, and the sandwich was the stuff of miracles. Best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. 10/10 Would recommend.

Outstanding food, the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with a hint of cheese and chives were amazing. The large milkshake with bannana was the biggest we've seen! Cakes were clearly home made.

Great space in the shaded garden to eat and for kids to play.

Food was delicious. They have lots of air conditioner/fanned seating inside, the cafe is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Really nice atmosphere. The food - ripper!!! So yum! We came straight here after going for a swim at the gorge, had burgers + chips and frappes. Do yourself a favour and stop here for a feed if you’re passing through!

This is hands down the best cake I've ever had. I consider myself somewhat of a cake and baked goods connoseiur of late, and this place takes the cake (pun intended) . Luck I don't live too close otherwise I would be putting on a lot of weight.
