Discovery Parks - Airlie Beach

Always a family fave when we stay here!! Every time we've stayed over the years, the staff go over and beyond to cater to our family's wishes. It makes our stay more comfortable and relaxing for everyone involved.
The tropical gardens and grassed areas are always kept clean and inviting.

Love it, will consider staying again.. the location and amenities are amazing.

One can spend days just in there.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Reception staff very helpful and were able to upgrade our site to powered at the last minute. Make sure you bring a long power lead as the roof tent pitch was a bit far from the power box. Great amenities and camp kitchen with fridge, tv, microwave, oven etc. Would definitely recommend and would stay again ☺

A nice park with really spacious sites. Enough to to park your car next to van spacious. Amenities are very clean with a resort style pool available. Seems to be plenty of cabins available also but we had our caravan. It is a bit out of the way from town and would be difficult if you didn't have a car however the bus stop is right outside and goes to town and tours pick you up most times anyway. A lovely park highly recommend.

We had an en suite that was fantastic and clean as a whistle.
They allowed us to park up early and were super helpful.

We stayed in a ensuite powered site with our caravan in August 2023 and it was the best stay we have had in our 3 week journey! New ensuite bathrooms, extremely clean. The whole park itself is very family friendly and obviously holds high standards for itself. I would 100% recommend staying here. I am not fussy with where we stay but this place is just beautiful and it’s nice to stop somewhere and be able to shower without shoes on. (For fear of things not actually being clean) amazing job to the people who run this place it’s great !

Stayed in a standard cabin, and it was sufficient for our one night stay. I was surprised that there was virtually no noise from the adjoining cabins and certainly no road noise. The room was clean and well presented, with the usual complimentary toiletries and coffee, etc. Arriving late and leaving early wasn't a problem. The grounds looked nice, so hopefully, one day, we will be back for a longer stay.

What a beautiful Park with everything my family of 5 needs to have an amazing stay in this stunning part of Australia - jumping pillow, waterpark, basketball hoop, outdoor movies, bird feeding, synthetic pitch with soccer goals, cricket lanes and games room. Very close to city centre and tour buses can pick up and drop off. Cabins were immaculate with our deluxe one having a very busy washing machine. Thanks to the amazingly friendly team for a wonderful memory making holiday x

Great medium sized park. Good amenities for size of park. Stayed at ensuite site. Well worth extra money. Nice and quiet up top of park. Enjoyed feeding the cocktoos, they got used to me and came back every evening for a feed. Booked early so got a good price.

Lovely cleaning family-friendly park, with lots of stuff for the little ones, a pool, a jumpy cloud, a games room and loads of space. The room was clean with everything you could need for a short break. Lots of room for camping and mobile homes. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

A well positioned park between Airlie and Shute harbour. Has great facilities if you have children. We stayed for a week in one of the cabins and were impressed with the size. The bed was great as were the kitchen facilities. Hot water is gas supplied so is always "on tap". We enjoyed the feel of also being very close to the "bush". Will be back.

Lovely holiday park located on Shute harbour road Airlie Beach. Facilitirsbare great and caravan sites have cement slabs. Great kids area with playground jumping pillow and water park with pool. Will stay again .

We had a short stay here at the discovery & unfortunately had to head back south.
But I can not recommend enough management and reception staff are absolutely amazing. Even had an invite to a nice little fire pit, kids could be kids. All round want to thank you guys so much for having our family at your park 💜

Stayed here for 6 days, would have stayed longer if sites were available, very busy. Had a large site, amenities clean, friendly staff, nice pool.. not far to drive into town. Would recommend a stay here. 👍🏼😊

Great park, stayed in one of the new cabins, it was a little small but very comfortable, clean and bed was comfy. Staff were very accomodating

Park is absolutely amazing. We stayed in the Deluxe Bali Villas, which were spacious, clean and very quiet (towards the back of the park). All the amenities you need are here - pool, waterpark, bouncing pillow for kids. Dog friendly in certain areas. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Location is about a 5 min drive to the town centre, with a variety of cafes, restaurants and bars. Can't wait to head back to Airlie Beach and stay at the park again soon!

We had to book some accommodation last minute as we were meant to be staying offshore on a fishing charter for 5 nights. The charter got cancelled the day before we came, litterally everywhere in Airlie beach was booked out. We managed to get 5 nights here. The cabins were great, clean, comfortable and spacious. the park was quiet and peaceful. Easily enough access to Shute harbour and into the main drag of Airlie Beach.

Ive stayed in a lot of caravan parks around Australia and would have to say this is one of if not the best I have stayed in. Highly recommend and Would definitely stay here again!

I totally recommend this place , is perfect for long stays , have kitchen, laundry , pool , very family oriented. Non smoking facilities … perfect if you have a camper . For kids is amazing . I don’t have … but I saw a lot very happy there . It was clean and well maintained . People who work in there were very helpful . The price is very good . I was in a private cabin , very comfortable and clean , they have a lot of places . Something that is really nice are the cackattos ( cacatúas ) (this white big parrots) they’d are all around they are very friendly ! I really like the place and totally recommend ! Thanks 🙏🏼 I had a great time .

This place is fantastic for families with younger kids. The facilities are older but well kept and clean.
The jumping pillow was out of action, but between the playground, water park, arcade, pool and bird feeding there was plenty to do.
The park itself backs on to national park and there is heaps of local wildlife about. The bus stop out the front was also handy as its a fair walk into Airlie.
The 2 bed deluxe cabin was modern and tidy with everything we could have needed, the beds were comfy too.
We did have to contact the manager regarding excess noise from a neighbour but they were really helpful and got the situation sorted quickly.
We would definately come back

Great park. Nathan and Chris was very accommodating with assisting bookings adjustments due to extensions of bookings without notice to us. Park is well maintained except some dryers don't dry clothes well.

Kids enjoyed the water park and games room 5 star.
