Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village Restaurant easily provided the best meal we had in Tasmania. The pork rib is one of the best I’ve ever eaten and is truly a must-try. The salmon is also excellent. The staff are friendly, and the service is top-notch, making it a nice place for dining.

Although the food was served quite slowly, the staff made a nice gesture by giving us free fries to compensate for the long wait. This thoughtful touch added to the positive experience. Additionally, there is plenty of parking available outside, making it convenient for visitors. Overall, it’s a fantastic dining spot with delicious food and excellent service.

Great restaurant in awesome surrounds. The staff were all all friendly and full of recommendations for the hikes and local areas. Shout out to Victor and Andres in particular, but also the others who served us (but I didn't get their names). The food was delicious and hearty. Stand out was the sticky date pudding which was everything a sticky date pudding should be. Our only regret was not ordering another one.

The perfect stopover before reaching Cradle Mountain. The salmon blew our minds away, a must-try. Service was very personal and obliging. Value and quality way surpasses any restaurant in the area.

The cabin we stayed in was fantastic. Complimentary wine and cheese board on arrival, fire place to stay snug after walking at cradle all day. Place was tidy, plenty of good features in the room. Would definitely come back

This review is for the restaurant. We came across this restaurant as we were looking for late lunch after our walk around cradle mountain. What a gem! Superb and attentive service, great food that’s been cooked perfectly. Definitely one of the best tasting food we had in Tassie.

Excellent service from the staffs.. Very friendly and polite.. they took the extra mile to help ask for permission for me and my family if we are able to dine in as we did not make any reservations. Food is nice.. Nice fire place to warm up the whole place.

We had dinner, dessert, and a glass of wine here and loved it! I ordered the salmon with potatoes and asparagus, and my husband had the steak. We loved both dishes, as well as the sticky date pudding we shared for dessert.

The best culinary experience we've received in Tas thus far. The food was superb, the atmosphere and location stunning, and the service has been second to none. A special shout out to Edward, who went above and beyond (and makes the best cocktails I've had!). Highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed, flavourful, and immersive experience.

Staffs are so friendly and helpful, that’s the best part of our experience.
We have two dinner at here and I order the steak at the first day and pizza for second. I must say that the steak is wonderful! I have it medium rare, you can’t taste any blood, but only how juicy the meat is.
Pizza is cool, I order the seafood one, although the filling is not much( there’s only one prawn) but I will take it as this price, never have salmon on pizza, though it will be weird but surprises me instead.

Visited Hellyers Restaurant at the Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village and had an excellent time... the view is spectacular, the service was superb, the meals were sumptuous. Well worth a visit if you want a great evening with friends and family or just looking for a great meal for yourself.

Cabins were great. Highlight was Hellyers restaurant and lounge area. Food was exceptional, staff extremely friendly. Would highly recommend as evening location.

Beautiful place to get your meal when you are up in the mountains. We had their wombat royal pizza, salmon and lamb rack. All were yummy and prettily plated. Efficient and warm service too. Best part of the meal was to have two little kangaroos eating their dinner beside us outside the window at the same time. Love the experience.

The food and service was the best I experienced on my 7 days in Tas, reasonably priced for the quality and the location. The space was warm and cosy, the service was friendly and professional. Our main server was so charming that we wanted to take her with us and she didn't miss a beat with our orders. Highly recommend the mushroom dish which is fully plant-based (vegan) on the menu without requiring modifications and was so good everyone loved it

We came here for a meal after being completely underwhelmed by the food and value at Peppers Cradle Mountain. It was amazing in every respect. The food was beautifully presented, tasty, good value and the service was great. Views to the mountain from our dining table was the cherry on top. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing meal at the restaurant after a strenuous day of hiking The food was delicious with the flavours so perfectly blended that we even said the best we have had in Tassie. The staff were lovely also- so helpful and friendly.
Accomodation is just what we needed warm comfortable homely.
The self cooled breaky looks fabulous also. If you had your own food you could cook it as the kitchen is quite well equipped.

Fantastic experience at the Hellyers Restaurant - beautifully ideated and constructed dishes, beautiful view from the restaurant and great wine and whisky selection. Attentive to allergy requirements - would highly recommend.

The dining experience was exceptional. I savored the fish of the day, which was cooked to perfection. The staff exhibited warmth and the service was impeccable.

Amazing experience at the CMVW restaurant. Excellent service, friendly staff and such high standard food. Ate there every night of my stay. Christmas lunch there was a delight including Santa.

Amazing food, great view, we went at sunset and the view out the window was stunning. We had lamb shanks, pizza, quail, charred cos and a kids meal. Great value for money. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Would 10/10 recommend :) We wish we had dined here both nights we were here!
