P.S. photos in Google could be a bit confusing - they have a proper restaurant in Devonport (note - new location!) and a food van traveling around in other towns

An evening in Devonport for an early morning departure on the spirit of Tasmania resulted in us looking for somewhere nice to eat for our final holiday meal. Pizzirani's Cucina was perfect. As walk-ins we show to a bar table which was surprisingly very comfortable. What a good idea to have a all menu of delectable dishes. The bolognaise in the entree 'spring roll' was excellent - one serve was plenty to share.
Our pasta mains were large but extremely tasty and the salad was a real surprise - so crispy with the added red cabbage. The wines on offer were lovely, I particularly enjoyed the Sangiovese. To top it off, the staff were professional and very friendly. This is a real gem.

My surprise birthday party was made even better with the authentic cuisine and timely attention from the friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. They listened attentively and helped us make decisions about our choices that would meet our personal requirements . Definitely a revisit. Many thanks.

It's a short but delicious menu with options for vegetarian too. The staff were very friendly and made the space very comfortable to fully enjoy the meal. Bookings are safer but we did luck a spot walking up. Thanks for a great night.

What a fabulous experience! The dishes are full of flavour and exquisitely presented, the atmosphere is warm and friendly and best of all, it feels like you are experiencing Italy in your backyard! How lucky are we! We will be back many times.

What a beautiful way to finish our trip to Tassie. We loved the thoughtful menu and cosy interior. The food was really amazing, delicious pastas, anchovy entree and a sublime chocolate torte to finish. Thank to also to the lovely staff. We will be back 👏

Lovely Cosy Bistro with amazing food and service ! We asked for Vegan options during our dinner booking and the staff went out of their way to get vegan desserts specially for us as they didn't have any on the menu..

Dined at Pizzirani mid week - I from Sydney, my work colleague from Melbourne. We had eaten in some fine high & low priced venues during the week including Landscape Tuesday night. We both agreed that what Olivia delivered was not just food but the experience of being transported to Italy. My friend - Italian born parents - declared it the most genuine Italian he'd eaten other than at his mothers table. Quote "Nothing this good in Melbourne" - the baked meatballs in polenta - we lost our minds. Our only regret - our appetites didn't allow us to try everything. Top Restaurant - NUMBER (1) ONE. Do yourself a favour & make sure y try this place when you in Devonport (TAS, Australia) & if you're a local that has not been then you need to quickly before the word gets out. This place is exactly the type of update modern, while still keeping to it's heritage style Italian Trattoria style restaurant with many surprises you love to discover in small town (being just back home to Australia for a few weeks from Paris this place really impressed!) Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff are also really friendly - and the owner Liv a chef herself running front of house totally made the experience. They know what they’re doing in the kitchen and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty amazing as well (notice I left this until last), some italian classics and some very impressive twists using what I can best describe as restrained fusion, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. They have a nicely curated list of drinks & wines to match the food offering, and prices are more than reasonable, too cheap IMHO. But I would love to see some more classic Italian cocktails on the list though, like a few takes on an aged barrel “Negroni” to make this place stand out, but that it really needs to based on all the places I have been locally over the past week. Keep up the good work Liv & team. We will be back & if you want some great Negroni recipes let us know! PS. And when your ready to expand & want an investor, make sure you touch base.

Don’t miss this gem of a restaurant in the Rooke Street dining strip. You will feel like you are dining out in Melbourne. Flavours are to die for. Pizzirani’s has a long tradition of serving up amazing Italian dishes in our region but Granddaughter Olivia along with her Nona, family and amazing staff have created a menu where old traditions meet new. Don’t miss this experience in a family friendly restaurant if you want to feel your taste buds explode. 10 out of 10. Multo Multo Bueno!!!

Phenomenal food and great service, you can't ask for much more. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and considering the quality of the meals, quite reasonably priced.
