Mathers House

It's a great meeting place where culturally and linguistically diverse community groups, meet with Federal, State and Local Government, to discuss community issues.

A lovely haven in the city, be it for scones with jam and cream for 2.50 or a full lunch for under 10. Highly recommend for over 50s looking for a rest and revive space in the City. Supported by Hobart City Council and the staff and wonderful volunteers at Mathers House.

I'm proud to have supported this location with the "dining with friends" program that frequently occurs here.

Great venue. We used the centre for a church conference in December and was really fantastic. The only thing is that the street is not accessible on Sundays because it's used for local market.

Friendly atmosphere. Always the place to go for a good cheap meal Monday to Friday. Information on lots of services, especially for older people available.

I attended Mathers House today with a friend. Its a wonderful place for us older Fair Dinkum Aussies to join in and have good company .znd plenty of thing to do .Singing on thursday with The Lovely Lady Betty. ALso computer lessons.
