Great service

Never before have I received such poor customer service in my life! I walked in today with some water seal trim off my shower cubicle, I started to walk through the showroom onto the spare parts counter and a woman with blond medium lengthed hair came in from that section and advised in a very blunt fashion that Reece do not do shower trims and to try Tewantin Glass next door and then immediately brushed me by saying Goodbye. I then advised her I was actually looking for a new shower head and advised her that I jad purchased one of Marketplace and wanted to get another on if they had them. I showed her the post off marketplace and it was $30 however I purchased it for $25. She immediately then said well ours will cost in the hundreds of dollars if we have it! I then advised how this would be the case as the RAM website stated that the RRP is $51.98c AUS. She then went onto say that if its not one of Reece's linked items in their POS then they may jave to order it in specially and that is why the cost would be so high? (Courier anywhere in Australia maximum cost for weight would be $40 max??) She then went onto say that it is one of their linked items in POS and that if I wanted to order in the product it would cost me $79.78c!
I then was puzzled as to why a product which was costed to consumers on their own website at Recomended Retail Price was so overinflated??? I then said thanks I will come back to you after advising I will be looking around. And that is exactly what I will be doing! Seriously I don't know if she was having a bad day, family problems or just didn't like her job or my look? Mind you I was dressed in GAZMAN polo and pants with dress shoes on as I work in HR/Recruitment. I will certainly purchasing it elsewhere moving forward. Shock of it all is I have had far better service from kids fresh out of school at the Coolum branch prior.
My advice to this lady is if you don't like your job, go get one that you do like, maybe drop me a line as I actively listen to my clients and make them happy and go the extra mile to ensure their needs are met, I could definitely do the the same for her if required!
