The Anchorage Hotel

Just spent the weekend here with my husband and had a wonderful time.

The room was extremely clean and tidy with a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean and the bowling green. The bed was very comfortable and the spa bathroom was large and clean.

I loved the shampoo, conditioner etc, as they all had a lovely citrus smell and felt lovely to use.

We had dinner in the cafe and the meals were delicious. They even did a special meal for my sister-in-law (as she is on a special diet), with no problems.

The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

A big thank you to them for a lovely weekend. And thank you also for the yummy complimentary wine and nibbles.

Can totally recommend a stay here!!

What an amazing stay. Authentic guest house from the early 1900s with some updates to bring it to the 21st century while maintaining that beautiful style and history from when it was built. Rooms are gorgeous, dining is great (both the food and the atmosphere) and the staff are as warm as the enormous fireplace in the bistro.

Thank you so much to everyone for making my stay a 10/10 experience, can't wait to be back enjoying the local beers and Ray's great meals.

Had lunch at the Anchorage Hotel in Victor Harbour today. Set out on the front deck and they were lovely staff with excellent service and very good pricing pet friendly, we had our Labrador sitting at our feet and had a lovely view of the ocean as well.
Had the half serve chicken schnitzel with gravy, and it was an excellent size and very nicely done with a fresh salad on the side.

Had Sunday lunch with friends and the shared seafood platter was excellent. So good to have well done grilled fish and prawns rather than fried. Good service despite being super busy . Entertainment was an added great bonus.

Henry and staff were very welcoming and friendly. This made for an enjoyable stay, will visit there again next time. Good location close to town and shopping plus easy access to places of interest and great view of the beach from the hotel room.

Henry at the front desk is just amazing and so helpful. View is unparalleled. Stunning. Wine and nibbles very appreciated. Spa is relaxing and well worth the money. Can not fault the old worlde charm of the Anchorage.Book here before any modern renos take place.

Absolute legends, Parmi... exactly what you'd expect for a seedy Sunday pub meal. Shoutout to the staff member Liam who went above and beyond to find a charger, then keep it on charge under his counter. Great views, great vibes!

Great place to eat plenty of room for couples and families the service was great the food was very good but one problem was our entree was brought out with our meal especially when we ask for it before our main meal but over all we recommend that you try this place 10x10

Such a caring man at front desk, most welcoming and accommodating. Extremely quiet location and comfy bed, shower was divine. .Thankyou…. Monday and Tues no meals so can’t comment but enjoyed our brief stay

Perfect pub for meal on a melancholic Wednesday the day before your partner flies interstate. Good sized schnity

We dined last night at this hotel. We ordered share seafood platter, and its value for money, fresh seafood and excellent service. We would definitely come back

Good service, excellent meals, prices were reasonable however decor in need of an update IMO.

Dined at the Anchorage Hotel on Australia day 🇦🇺 weekend, so extremely busy, but wait staff were very efficient and the food was absolutely delicious 😋

We stayed only one night but we totally loved it! The whole hotel has an old rustic style with a good attention to the detail. Everyone was super lovely and we had a great time.

How wonderful are the staff here!!! So polite and accommodating ☺ The Steak Sandwich was beautiful 🥰 everything so fresh and perfectly cooked! The Chicken Caesar Salad was excellent (although the chicken would have been nicer warm) and the vino selection was great 👍
The addition of a change table in the men's toilet is a sign of a really well thought out establishment to cater for families 🥰 Can't wait to come back in the summer time ❤

Our stay at the Anchorage was perfect!
We only stayed one night but we were welcomed and well taken care of. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, even after we had checked out: providing a warm fire to sit by while it rained outside.
Loved the nautical aesthetic and good amenities.

Easy and friendly check in. Room absolutely lovely with beautiful views. Private balcony overlooking the water was amazing.
Loads of character and "a good feel".
Bar and bistro look great.
Would definitely rebook the room we had (room 26 spa room).

The Anchorage is an exquisite restaurant, the food is lovely and the view is impeccable. I would highly recommend it.

Delicious meal, had beef MB and it was delicious, everything on the plate was cooked nicely, we also had fish and chip, calamari and few kids meals, they were all nicely done, even the side salad was so fresh!!! Everyone enjoyed the food and were really happy!

Lunch was delicious at the cafe. Watched the Cockle train go past.
