Great Scot Cafe & Restaurant

One of the best cafes in Launceston, a cozy little cafe in the heart of the city. Very warm welcome, efficient service... And excellent meal quality!
Would definitely recommend this place.

Hospitality here is on point. Amazing and friendly staff. Food is delicious and good portions. It has been my go to spot for brunch and has not disappointed. I got the big brekkie breakfast with latte, plus they don’t do Sunday surcharges

Amazingggg chef and atmosphere. The food was DELICIOUS. I’d so go back again if I could, sad I live in Melbourne The portions were a tad bit small but the taste was just perfect. Also they have got best coffee taste .

Wow. What an excellent café. Very very good quality coffee. I ordered an almond milk cappuccino and it was a proper barista almond milk not the cheap ones. Himself had Regular milk and it was nice and fresh. We shared a toasted Sourdough with avocado, pesto and Mozzarela. Enough for 2 people easily. The fruit topped pancakes looked very good as well. Highly recommend

This is the go to place for Breakfast or Brunch in Launceston. Not pretentious just great food and best coffee!

Big brekkie was cooked perfectly and delicious. Flat white was delicious, Latte art WIP by the batista (still better than I can do 🤷🏽‍♂). Rest of my party also loved their food.

Minor complaint was fly buzzing around that ended up on my hash brown.

Service was fantastic, friendly folks.

The meal is consistently excellent. Excellent customer service to top it off. You have to give this place a try. The chicken toastie has always been my favourite since the day one.

My Husband and I have date day breakfast here at least once a fortnight and the consistency of flavourful food met with good serve sizes has to be the best in Launceston. Beautiful Nepalese flavours make this place just that bit extra but the true gems are the staff who always are approachable and kind.

A warm and cosy cafe run by a lovely couple with a menu that has inspiration from both Eastern and Western cuisine.

For the beverage, we had the Happy Gut Greenie smoothie and Wake-up Launnie. Would give 5 star for both of those smoothies and even asked for the recipe to make at home.

As for the food, we had the Nepalese Momo and the Egg Benedict with extra bacon from the menu and it was absolutely delicious and would recommend everyone to give it a go!

Went this morning for brunch. The cafe was absolutely lovely. The staffs were awesome. The food omg!!! It was absolutely fantastic. Really recommend this place. My partner and me loved this place❤ Much love🫶🏻

Love this place! I've been here a few times and always had an 11/10 experience. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the cafe is in a great spot in town and really comfortable to relax in. I love their coffee and the Great Scot burger, and tried the salmon bagel today which was so delicious!! Definitely recommend visiting this cafe while you're in town in Launceston☺

We had a brunch date here and really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. The meal was the best I have eaten in Launceston in a very long time. Eggs Benny and the Hangover burger, we were both very happy with our choices! The coffee was delicious and our waitress was super friendly. Such a hidden gem that we will definitely keep coming back to 🙂

The venue is nice, spacious and they have comfy couch. Customer service at TOP, my Aunt’s having her food allergies/gluten free/ vegan/ etc didn’t have hard time ordering. The chef and her waitress was very nice and was able to have few chat with us. Food was nice. Just right amount of serving, as I don’t eat much. FRIENDLY and good Place to have your Breakfast. Very Close to anything.

Friendly and very welcoming of a morning for breakfast, also very busy when we visited one Saturday morning, the breakfast menu is terrific with lots of yummy options. Our eggs and bacon were very fresh and tasty, had a wonderful milkshake, and coffee will be back next time we are in the area.

All food on the table was excellently cooked and presented.
