Asked for something not fishy tasting because I do not usually enjoy seafood. Young girl recommended gummy - it was piping hot and absolutely delicious. These guys do make really decent food here. Thank you I am very satisfied.

We came from Melbourne. While the prices may be higher, you get what you pay for. Generous serving of flake, nice thick pieces. Friendly staff. We also had the fish cakes which were lovely.

We tried a dozen freshly shucked Tarkine oysters from this fabulous shop. They were totally devine….even better with some bubbles from the BWS just around the corner. The scallops and calamari were cooked perfectly. The service was awesome too❣

I often drop in when in to Octopus Fish Shop when in town having my hair cut at Mad Hackers, my favourite meal is prawns and chips.
The chips are very hot but yummy and the prawns are in batter. Heavenly!

Great seafood take away shop in burnie just across the road from the beach grab some fish n chips and go and eat it at the beach how good now that's a easy cheep date great way to impress the special person in ya life or maybe just take your dear old dad out for a sneaky flake and chips take way it's well priced super clean and tidy shop with some great girls there to serve you with a great smile 😉

Great lunch here. Had the fisherman's basket, good size serve and perfectly cooked. Thoroughly recommended!

Best battered scallops ever! Fish is fresh not frozen, batter is light and it was no trouble for them to make a salad for me, so great smiling service too!

I have only bought oysters from this shop, and have not been disappointed so far. They serve fresh Tarkine Oysters from Smithton which are I think one of the best tasting oysters in Australia.
Staff is friendly and always serve with a smile.

Fabulous oysters. Immaculately clean and not at all fishy smelling. Provided us with everything we needed to enjoy them down on the beach.
