The business seems well equipped and Nicky has such a positive, can-do attitude that she’d make anybody want to come back again!
While waiting for our cuppas at the Toolzdown Cafe next door (also a great place!), I popped in to Washington Cyclisme Bicycle Store next door.
They’d already helped another of our “On Yer Bike” group of 18 Cyclists from Melbourne earlier that day.
I mentioned that my gears were shifting by themselves at times today,
(fully expecting to have to wait until I got back to Melbourne to resolve this), but Nicky asked if I’d had a cable changes lately (yes) and told me she’d look at it while I was having my cuppa.
She wasn’t wasn’t able to resolve it as fully as she would have liked to in the short time she had. However, the lubing she did made a huge difference and I don’t think I will need to have it looked out again. She explained what was happening to me and told me what to keep an eye out for in the future.

I'm very happy with the service I received from the team at Washington Cycles. They serviced my mountain bike quickly and for a price I thought was very reasonable.

Their communication with me during this time was excellent! After picking the bike up and riding it for a day i noticed a couple of small adjustments that needed doing. Washo told me to drop back into the shop and they did the minor adjustments on the spot and I was out again in no time.

Give the little shop a go. Like me you might be surprised with the prices and personal service you receive.

Causal atmosphere with clean, expert, professional service. Small business able to cater for quick turn around bicycle servicing. Bike brought in late on Friday, quick diagnosis on the spot and the bike ready to go early Saturday morning. The mrs was looked after with a very decent coffee too!

A really cool bike shop. I turned up with destroyed tyre and tube. Expertly fixed in 10 minutes, with a great coffee as a bonus. Top quality accessories. These guys deserve to do well.
