One of the better autobarn stores with some super helpful staff

I went to Autobahn Mornington suspicious that my car battery (which is 12 years old) was dying. Quentin tested it, helped choose a replacement, and was even kind enough to install the new battery in the car-park (as my toolbox is back in Melbourne).

He also took my old battery, so I didn't need to dispose of it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent, friendly service. Great job Quentin!

Just purchased a backing plate and covers for my new slimline number plates. Young bloke advised me on what I needed then came out and fitted them, now that's what I call good old fashioned customer service. Well done young fella!

Many thanks to Josh who not only sold me a new headlight bulb but put it in the car. He also put a new battery in my key. All this was done in a friendly, respectful manner, which was much appreciated, given I am a 71 year old woman. Young men in auto shops can sometimes be condescending to older women but not Josh. He was just delightful! His sidekicks provided an entertaining sideshow (I was the only customer) and I appreciated the positive comment about my jacket from one of them. Blokes usually wouldn't notice. All round, a thoroughly lovely shopping experience and a great start to my day. Thank you, Josh and friends!!

I got some great advice there, the staff has been quite attentive and willing to help rather than to just sell me what they had in store. Kudos to them, I'll be back for sure.

Very helpful staff at Mornington Autobarn. Needed new wipers for my car and the guys helped me pick the right blades and then swapped them over for me. No charge! Will definitely be back for any car needs in the future.

I went there yesterday to get seat covers and found a brilliant sales person who helped me with my purchases plus offered to fit the seat covers on my front seats, he did this so professionally and so helpful to myself and being elderly l appreciated his help so much... So a big thankyou from a grateful customer... I only wish l got his name but it was around 2pm on 25th March then again on Friday 26th March, thanks so much... 💕👍👍

Very friendly and helpful staff. I needed globes for my car and the guy helping me knew exactly what i needed so i read in and out in 5 minutes or less.
