It’s pleasant stop with the bell music when walking along the river towards Federation Square. I would recommend to go there when the music plays at regular hours.

Happened upon this fascination and beautiful musical display in the Melbourne park. The kids enjoyed the music and the adults enjoyed the interesting history and genius construction.

Very unique attraction. You can hear it play some famous songs, but only using bells. The Android app that the signs say you should use, doesn't appear to be in the Play Store, however.

I absolutely loved it!! Right now they play a lot of Christmas music and really gets you in the holiday mood! They play for one hour, so you can stop by for the whole time or a short time. Shows: 8am-9am, 12:30-1:30pm, 5pm-6pm. Rest of the time, they make for beautiful pictures with the mix of city and nature that surrounds the park!

I stumbled on this group of bells in Melbourne’s Birrarung Marr park - the chiming / tolling sounds drew me siren-like to find out what they were. An art installation that plays tunes several times a day, worth wandering by if you’re spending time in the park.

Very unique creation. I heard this bell ringing sound while walking in Federation wharf. Thought someone playing an instrument but once arrived to this place realized it's a set up. I guess you can get really nice experience if you visit closer to sunset. There is an app also available (Federation Bell) to play different other pre-defined theme.

Iconic location, amazing carillon. Well worth a visit particularly when they are playing, from 8-9 am, 12.30 to 1.30 pm and 5-6pm.There's also a uniquely beautiful lighting installation that comes on at sunset, and some useful info and a slideshow in a sign box next to the bells.

If one is nearby, these bells are one of the attractions to be seen in city. These bells ring at certain times and better to check timings before the visit to enjoy the music. Sounds are very gentle and nice to hear.

Very soothing sounds. If you're in Melbourne, do visit this place after dark. There is elevated point nearby and the view from there is amazing. You can just sit and relax listening to the melodious bells while watching Yarra river and city-lights.

While walking around I was wondering why I hear church bells making a melody. Then I noticed the bells upside down playing that melody. This is nice idea. And bells turned right way against Europe on globe
